Part 2!

You were just putting the last new spark plug in Besty listening to your music when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You took your headphones off and looked to see Neji wearing a plain white dress shirt with a black jacket over it with black jeans and his boots his hair was pulled back into his famous ponytail you smiled at him "Hey" you said to him as you looked him in the eyes "What are you doing?" He asked you "I was fixing the last spark plug. She's ready to go now" You told him as you closed the hood and grabbed the rag that you had in your back pocket and cleaned your hands off. " Didn't take you long to get her running right?" He said as you grabbed your coat that you had placed on the roof of your car "I knew you wouldn't just don't have time to work on it" you told him "Are we ready to go?" He asked you "Sure. I've already got the house locked up" You said smiling as you opened the driver door "You knew.." He started "Yes. You're always right on time and I knew you would be here by the time I was done" You told him as he climbed in on the passenger side and you closed your door and started it. It has been a while since you heard "I missed that sound" You said enjoying the sound you reached over and turned the radio up just enough to hear it but low enough that you two could talk without having to yell over it. "It sounds great Suki," Neji said smiling at you as you started to pull out of your driveway " Thanks," You told him as you took over revving up the engine just a bit to test everything out. The ride to Naturo's was quite with a little bit of random talking about random things. Once you got to the party you were surprised to see just how many people had come to it. The people standing outside stopped talking and turned their heads to look at your car. You parked it right behind a Black Nissan and shut it down and both you and Neji got out "SUKI!!" You heard the over hyper voice yell before you were attacked in a bear hug by non-other than the host "Naruto it's great to see you too" You said smiling at him. The three of you walked in and you saw all your old friends laughing and having fun but what caught your eye was the three black haired guys standing in a corner talking to themselves "Naruto why did you invite him?" Neji asked but you stopped him "Neji it's fine. He did what he felt best" You said as you watched your former boss talking to the others around him " I didn't realize you were coming to Suki, I'm sorry for what happened," Naruto said looking down "Naruto it's fine really." You told him you kept looking around till you spotted you was you looking for and smiled "Neji do you mind if I go talk to an old friend?" You asked him nicely, you felt bad for leaving him since you gave with him but you really missed your best friend "Go right ahead Suki I'll be waiting for you" He said smiling at you "Thank you" You told him as you gave him a bright smile and walked towards the one person you missed more than anyone. You walked over to the wall he was leaning on and smiled as you watched him looking at his phone 

You walked up to him and tapped his shoulder "Gaara is been way to long" You said smiling as he looked up and smiled at you "Suki it's great to see you again" He said as he gave you a big hug. You and Gaara had grown up together and was never apart everyone swore the two of you would get together but it was never like that his heart belonged to another woman "How's Jade doing?" You asked him thinking of his " We broke up a while back" He said blankly which shocked you "Oh I'm so sorry Gaara" You said, "I didn.." "It's ok. I was going to call you but I heard you were always busy with work so I didn't want to bother you" Gaara said looking at you. That's why you and him was always such great friends no matter the distance or time apart you both kept tabs on each other and always knew "You could've always called me you know that" You told him "I will always have time you dork you know that" You told him hitting his shoulder lightly which made him smile "I know that just thought it would be best if I didn't" He said "I heard what Itachi did. That's bullshit want me to kick his ass?" He asked you which made you giggle "Same old Gaara. No, I missed up on some very important papers" You said looking down still feeling the shame of it " That's bullshit! You've never messed up on anything!' He said getting pissed you watched him search the room "Gaara what are you doing?" You asked him " I know that Bastard is here I saw him talking to Sasuke" He said still looking around you placed your hand on his chest "Please it's ok really" You told him but watched as his eyes were set and he glared at the person *Oh God no* You thought seeing the look on his face "Gaara please stop it.." you didn't get to finish because he gently pushed you to the side and started walking up to "Hey Asshole!" He yelled loud enough that everyone in the room heard him and you ran at him and grabbed his arm "Gaara please stop" You begged him but he didn't "Itachi you son of a Bitch! You're a fucking idiot if you think Suki fucked up on those papers!" Gaara yelled losing his temper. You looked up to see Itachi looking at you and Gaara, He went to raise his hand but you stood in front of Itachi "Gaara stop it now!" You yelled at him as you caught his fist in your hand easily which shocked everyone in the room "It's not worth this pointless fight. Let's just go" You told him as he looked down at you for a while before nodding and stood back still glaring at Itachi. You turned around and looked at Itachi before dropping your head "I'm sorry about my friend Mr. Uchiha" You said then turned and pulled Gaara away you passed Neji "Give us just a few. I won't leave you here. I'm so sorry" You told him quickly as you and Gaara walked outside. Gaara walked over to your car and leaned on it while pulling out a "I thought you quit?" You asked him as he lit his cigarette "I did. Jade really tore me up" He said "You shouldn't have stopped me Suki" He told you as he let the smoke roll out of his mouth slowly " I didn't want to ruin Naruto's party with a brawl breaking lose" You told him which just made him roll his eyes at you " You really need to stand up for yourself. That's why I taught you how to fight" Gaara said which it was very true that's how you stopped his fist " I understand that But fighting over something so petty" You told him "It's not petty" He told you "He's right Suki" You heard a voice say behind you which made you spin around to see Shisui behind you " Look both of you. It's ok I fucked up on the papers I understand. Just please drop it" You said walking away to find Neji which didn't take you long "Hey you ok?" Neji asked you "Yeah, I'm just so sick of people making it a big deal I get that I fucked up yes it hard to take in," You told him as you denied the drink he was offering you " Clearly, But we have all right too." He said "Suki you was top of out classes hell you even scored higher then me on the tests," He told you "Your mind is wonderful. Everyone in this room that knows you knows that about you" He told you touching your shoulder " Suki there is n..'' He started "Please Neji just drop it." You told him "It's hard to admit that but honestly, I loved that job, It's was what I was good at and enjoyed it," You told him "I worked there for a year Neji, a year that I denied my friends and life, but It felt I don't know..Like I belonged there" You told him looking down the floor "Then come work for me and Kiba," He told you but you didn't say a word "Hey, why don't we get outta here and get some real food?" He asked you which made you look up "But.." You started but he already walked away to find Naruto. When he came back he smiled at you "I told Naruto that we were leaving, He said to make sure you came back and seen him soon" Neji told you "alright then" You said as you both headed for the door "Suki leaving already?" Gaara asked you " I'm sorry but yes but here call me when you're free I'd love to catch up," You told him handing a paper that held your number then you gave him a hug and walked out with Neji. Once outside you spotted Itachi, Shisui and a few others stand by the Nissan you parked behind, You just looked away and walked to your car and got in with Neji "Where would you like to?" Neji asked you just as you started the car which drew the eyes of Itachi and the others " You tell me what's open this late?" You giggled looking at the clock in your car "Damn it's already 11" He said shocked "Tell you what I know of a good spot that's open late" You told him and pulled out unaware of the eyes that were watching you leave.

"So are you going to tell me where we are going?" Neji asked you which made you smile and laugh " It's a surprise," you told him as you placed your arm on the console that was between the to of you but bumped his arm "Sorry its a habit" You told him moving your arm "No it's fine I understand" He said seeing as how the car was a standard shift he could see why you used to doing that. you went to move your arm "Don't it's fine. It's not like I'm scared to touch you" He said laughing a little bit which made you laugh as well and left your arm there feeling his arm up against yours it felt strange but it was whatever. You finally pulled into a parking lot "Where are we?" He asked you looking around he saw a sign that said 'Dragon's Den' in a bright purple neon sign you and him both got out " Just come on" You told him grabbing his arm but instinct. Once you walked in you was greeted with bright lights, loud music and people talking and laughing "A Club?" He asked you "SUKI!!!"

You heard a voice yell at you "It's been a long time Crystal" You told her "Oh whose this cutie?" she asked you smiling at Neji "This is Neji Hyuuga, a friend of my from school" You told her "He's cute great pick" She said giggling which made him look at you "We'r.." "She's picking on us Neji, Relax," You told him "Well right this way guys," She said as she walked you two to a more quieter place away from the dance floor and loud music, it's still loud but back in the back room it's more like a diner "You got this place going good" You told her smiling as she handed you both menus out of the white apron she had on over her dress "Thanks I'll give a few minutes" She told you as she walked away "What is this place?" Neji asked you "It's my Father's place, he left it to me, But I gave it up to Crystal so I could go to school," You told him reading the menu "Why don't you ju.." He started "Too many memories working with him here...It would hard" You told him remembering the days that you came to work with him and helped him out with everything ever since you were little this was your home "So what would it be?" Crystal asked you two " I'll take the home-style salad and a sweet tea," You told her which she just shook her head " And for you cutie-pie?" She asked Neji with a wink "Umm..The steak meal. well done and a coke" He told her she wrote it down then walked away "Don't worry about her, She's really sweet and just flirts with all the cute guys that come in here, she don't mean no harm" you told him "You think I'm cute?" Neji asked you *Shit* you thought to yourself "Anyone with eyes could see that Neji" you told him looking down "That doesn't answer my question" He said leaning back in his chair "Yes. There Happy?" You asked him "Very." Crystal came back with your plates and dinner was great everything was amazing but you knew it would be.

Once dinner was over you drove back to your house "I still don't see you in a place like that" Neji said, " I grew up." You told him while the two of you stepped out of your car and you walked him to his car "Clearly. Think about working for me Suki, I'm sure you will enjoy it" He told you before he got in his car and drove off. You then walked into your room and went straight to your bedroom and picked out some night clothes and went to take a shower after that you went to bed thinking about everything that happened today.
