Part 3!

You woke up and went to make some coffee when you heard your phone ringing *Who could that be* you wondered as you rush to answer it without looking at the name or number 

"Hello?" 

"Miss Batsu Good Morning"

"Umm..Sir why are you calling this early on a Saturday?"

"I would like to have a meeting with you"

"I'm sorry I don't understand"

"Meet me at the Cafe on third street in one hour"

With that he hung up you freaked out and without thinking called someone

"H..Hello?"

"Neji..I'm sorry to wake you"

"Suki? No it's ok..Everything alright?"

"I'm not sure"

"What do you mean?"

"Itachi just called me requesting a meeting with me"

"Do you want to go?"

"I'm not sure. Think I should?"

"Look it's up to you. But if anything happens if you go call me"

"What should I tell him?"

"Tell him you work for me now if you want"

"Alright, Thank you"

"Anytime"

with that, you hung up and got ready to leave you picked out one of your work uniforms and slipped it on and walked out while locking the door and headed to your car. You knew the cafe it's the one you use to stop at all the time to get coffee. You pulled in to the parking lot and walked in the cafe "Well you're a sight for sore eyes" You heard "Good morning Jake" You greeted him "I've missed seeing you, thought you started to go somewhere else" He said joking with you "You know better than that. The same thing as normal?" he asked you *Why not?* You asked yourself "Sure but for here I'm meeting someone," You told him "Don't ask please," You told him. He handed you everything and you paid then took a seat in a nearby booth that looked out to the main road and your car. About 10 minutes later  "You showed" You heard his voice which made you look up at him "Good morning Mr. Uchiha. Please have a seat" You said nicely "I got you a coffee already" You told him smiling then looking back at your car. You heard him sit down "What's this?" he asked you as he looked at the box of sweets "They are for you," you told him not looking at him "Mr. Uchiha may I ask why you wanted this meeting?" You asked him as you watched him take a bite of one of the candies once he was done "Yes well. It's been made that I clearly upset a lot of people by firing you" he said, "It's fine I underst.." " Let me finish." He said so you stayed quiet "No only by your friends, but some of your co-workers have been on my back about it" he said which shocked you because you were the girl that everyone seemed to see but not really noticed at the same time " It seems you wasn't the one to mess those papers up" He said "It was Mai" he told you which made you feel a relief but shocked "I'm sorry Sir I don't understand, she didn't even touch those papers" You said "It appears that she snuck in there and messed with them when I went to lunch" He said "I'm sorry I was quick to blame you" He told you "Anyway the reason I'm here I'm offering your job back, actually a better one as my new personal assistant" He said "With all due respect Mr. Uchiha.." " I made a contract up to that I want you to look over before you say anything. If you agree to the terms sign by my name and be at the office at 5 a.m Sharp" he said handing you the papers "Mr. Uchiha thank you for this offer but.." "Just please read the paperwork. I must return to the office" He said standing up "Thank you for the coffee and candies" He said as he turned and walked out the door you noticed that he left the box of candies which made you jump up and ran to his car "Sir you forgot these. Please take them I won't eat them and I don't want them to go to waste" you told him as you handed the box to him with a smile he took them and you walked back inside to grab the papers and clean your table a little bit before you waved bye to Jake and walked to your car. You parked your car and walked inside and sat down on your couch and placed the papers on the coffee table in front of you just as you went to pick it up your phone was going off 

"Hello?"

"Suki. How did the meeting go?"

"He told me that he was sorry for firing me because someone else messed the papers up"

"I knew you didn't fuck up"

"He made a contract up for me to go back to work for him"

"Well do you want to?"

"I'm not sure"

"I can come over and go over the papers with you..I mean if you want"

"That would be great actually"

"Great! Umm I mean I'll see you in just a few"

"Alright then Later"

You said as he hung up the phone *He was excited to come over here.* You thought getting up *Maybe work is just to slow today. Maybe he wants to see you* you stopped and looked down * No way I never stand a chance with him even if I wanted him* You thought. You never have any confidence in your looks you stopped thinking and picked out a simple outfit 

You heard a knock on your door you opened to "Hey" He said "Your fast" You told him moving so he could come in "Oh here thought you would be hungry so I stopped and picked us some lunch" he told you handing you a bag which made you smile "You to nice Neji" You said taking the bag and showing him to the couch "Make yourself at home" you as you went to the kitchen and grab to cans of soda for the both of you "Sorry it's not much but it's home" you told him watching him looking around the small living room "It's cozy" he said taking the soda from your hands " Have you looked at the papers?" he asked you "Not yet." You told him "well let's get started," he said smiling.

"Finally," Neji said as he sat back which made you laugh at him "Itachi takes his job very seriously" you told him "Clearly. I don't see anything wrong with this contract it's all very standard" He said "Expect the fact that he can't fire you again without Shisui's say so" Neji said with a strange look "Why is that name familiar to me?" he asked you "He was our Math teacher at school. He's like a friend of mine now" You told him "Well it's up to you Suki. As much as I..we would love to have you at the company I can't and won't force to work with" He said but there was a hint of something in his voice.
