The wind felt soothing as it kisses her skin. She was with the love of her life, enjoying the cool breeze and the light of a thousand stars.

The younger girl faced her, held her hands, and said, "I'm breaking up with you."
Her eyes widen and she let's out a chuckle, the younger girl couldn't possibly be serious. "Don't joke around, It's not funny." The younger shook her head "I'm serious. Let's break up."

"Why? What happened? Why are you breaking up with me all of a sudden?" The older girl teared up, she couldn't contain her feelings. The person she loves the most, is suddenly breaking up with her. "I... I fell out of love for you." The younger girl faced down, not wanting the person in front of her see her tears.

"What? Is this because I'm too busy with work? Tell me, please. We're in this together, right? You and me against the world?" the older cried.
"This isn't going to work anymore. We grew apart, my love for you changed and I can't do anything to bring it back. If we continue our relationship, we're only going to hurt ourselves even more." the younger felt the guilt. She couldn't do anything about her feelings.
"Don't leave me, please, not this time, not ever." The older kneeled down to her, she loves her too much to lose her. Her existence was the reason why she's still existing.

She pulled her back up, now they are both standing. The younger girl kissed her forehead, down to her nose, until her soft lips. "I loved you so much. I know damn too well that you do too. So please, do us a favor and go separate ways." she cried.

"Don't do this to me." the older faced down. The younger held her chin and lift it up, "It's for the best, please." she said with pleading eyes. The older girl sobbed even more.

"Will breaking up with me makes you happy?" she sobs. The younger shook her head and sighed. The younger girl kissed the older.
"It will, eventually. But for sure, it will make us better for ourselves." she let out a sad smile and left the older's apartment.

She really left me.
