I haven't got any good sleep this week and I feel really tired today. If my dad didn't called me in, I'm having my slumber already.

I drove for almost an hour until I reached our mansion. The only thing I really love about this house is my mom. She understands me most of the time, and she really shows me and my sisters that she loves us, unlike dad who decides our lives for us and force us to do everything he wants all the time. It's kinda tiring, being the one who always getting all his orders since my two sisters are already settled and living the dream. While me, I'm just getting more hurt everyday.

When I arrived at the mansion, I weny straight to dad's study. It's rare to see him in other places in the house.

“Why'd you called me in so early, dad? I haven't got any decent sleep and it's kinda annoying.” he continued to flip through the pages of the book. “I want you to rest here, before meeting Jinyoung.” I rolled my eyes, “I can rest peacefully there, too, dad.” he closed his book and looked at me.
“I don't want you to be in such hurry later, Jeongyeon. Also, don't you miss your bed? I know it's been years since you last lied on that.”

Actually that is a good point.

Wow you actually cared about me.” he chuckled. “I always care about your well-being, Jeong. Now go and take a short rest. There's a whole day ahead of you.” I nodded and went out his study. I looked around the house and realized that nothing changed. All of the things were at the same place years ago.

I opened my room and a weird nostalgic feeling hits me. I see the same posters posted on the pastle blue walls, and legos on my small table. I remembered how I was so addicted to legos. I wouldn't let anyone touch it, not even my parents. All of the memories from highschool came back to me... even the bad ones.

I've improved so much.

Drowning with my thoughts, I fell asleep without being aware.

-

“What are you wearing?” Dad said, looking at my black fitted ripped jeans, and a black jacket above a plain white tee. “My regular clothes.” He shook his head. Dad snapped his fingers and the maid brought a lot of dresses from I don't know where.

“Pick one you like.” he said. It's been a while since I last wore one, because I don't like the feeling of wearing one. “I won't wear a dress, dad, but I'll change my clothes.” he sighed but nodded anyway. “Alright, but better hurry. Jinyoung is arriving any minute.” I smiled and went back to my room and removed my jeans and jacket, leaving me only wearing my t-shirt. I browsed through my wardrobe and saw my 17SS oversized detached jacket, which looked more formal. I also grabbed a black short and wore sandals.

Better.

I went down and saw dad in the living room with a well-groomed man wearing slacks, and a white polo.
“Oh, Jinyoung, this is my daughter, Jeongyeon.” he pointed at my direction that made the guy look at me.

“It's nice to meet you, Jeongyeon-ssi.” Jinyoung offered his hands. I grabbed it. “Nice to meet you too, Jinyoung-ssi.” he gave me a smile.

He actually looks good.

Shall we get going?” he said. I nodded. “Thank you for giving me this chance, Mr. Yoo.” dad laughed and patted his shoulders. “Not a problem at all.” We both went out and went inside his car.

“You're not the talkative type, aren't you, Ms. Yoo?” I shook my head. “No, but I like to listen to stories people share to me.” he nodded and kept on driving. “A good listener, huh?”
“Yeah.”
He heaved a heavy sigh.

“Jeongyeon-ssi, I have to be honest with you.”
“Hmm? What is it?”
“I really didn't want to go to this arrangement. Not that I don't like you or don't want to see you, but because I already have someone else.”
“Actually Jinyoung-ssi, I feel the same way. My dad was too pushy so I said yes so he can stop bothering me. But in reality, someone already has my heart.”
“I guess we're the same.”
“We are.”
“But I do admire how you see and obey your father.”
“It's not like I have a choice.”
“But you didn't go against your father's decision. Well at least, in meeting me.”
“Oh I have gone against that, Jinyoung-ssi. He's just so forceful.”
“Well we can't do anything about it now. Let's just enjoy the day and get to know eachother more. ”

Me and Jinyoung became really close friends in just one day. We talked about how we love our special someone, but their situation is not like mine. I do wish they can fix theirs.

-

The day was done, and Jinyoung accompanied me to my condo, but I told him just to drop me by my usual bar, near Momo's apartment.

“Thank you for today, Jinyoung.” he smiled. “No problem, Jeong. If you need any help from me just call or text me.” I nodded and grinned. He went off and I gone inside the bar.

“Unnie!” I shouted as I saw her at someone's table. She looked at me and she somehow looked relieved.
“Jeong, can you help me over here?”  I tilted my head but went closer anyway. As I near the table, a girl was fast asleep; probably knocked out by the amount of alcohol she drank.

“Her again, unnie?” she nodded. “She has been drinking nonstop for at least 2 hours now.”
“What's her problem now?”
“Something about letting go and finding someone.”
“Now that's new.”
“Yep, it is. I'll leave you to her, Jeongyeon. take care of her like you used to.”

I sighed heavily, seeing this girl drunk herself to death again. I've seen her like this a couple of months ago. She's been here, everyday drunk for 2 straight weeks. I'm actually surprised that she's still alive. And now she's back here, and God knows for what reason.
