Wow, long time no see to those of you who still either follow me or have this story saved to your libraries. Recently, I decided that it was time to clear out the mess of files I've accumulated on my computer over the years. I stumbled across my fanfiction folder, and opened up the On My Last Nerve document for old time's sake because this story has always been my favorite. To my surprise, I found that Part Nine had been completed in June of 2017, and I never got around to posting it due to some difficult life events. I went back and forth for a while about if it was worth posting this, and came to notice that occasionally, even in 2019, people add this story to their reading lists and take the time to vote and comment on this story.

I figure that as long as there's one person out there who would get a sense of enjoyment from my writing, then I should share it. A fair warning though: I have long since lost interest in Little Mix (I did watch Jesy's documentary though), and presently have no intention to finish my two uncompleted fics.

Luckily, with both stories being AUs, I do view the ensemble of characters in my stories more as entities loosely based off of real celebrities. I don't necessarily think that I need to know what's going on with Little Mix to continue these stories, so if inspiration to write ever strikes, maybe I can return to my fics on here as a creative outlet, as long as Little Mix are still relevant enough that people would want to read my stories (just know that the last era I really ever seriously followed was the Get Weird era and some of the beginning of the Glory Days era).

From what I've seen online, Jerrie seems to by a relatively dead ship compared to some other ships within the band, so I would love to hear some feedback regarding whether or not people still enjoy Jerrie fanfiction and if the desire to read it still exists. When I came across Part Nine, I immediately noted that it is around 30K words, which I think is kind of ridiculous and throws off the pacing for a chaptered fic. To try and salvage the pacing of the story, I split the chapter in half. I figure if enough people would enjoy it, I can upload the other half as Part Ten in a few days after I gauge everyone's reaction to this chapter and whether or not people are still interested in this fic.

If you're reading this update, I thank (the majority of) you for politely checking in on me and my stories, and I hope that it was somewhat worth the two year wait! Reactions and thoughts on the chapter are always welcome! Let me know if any sentences cut off abruptly or seem like they're missing content, because I didn't proofread, so I'm not totally sure if 2017 me went in and finished any lines that were causing me any difficulty prior to the completion of the chapter.

"Perrie..." Jade trails off, the flustered brunette focusing on Perrie raptly as the blonde begins to subtly roll her hips against the hand pleasuring herself underneath the fabric of her jeans.

"Jade," Perrie whines breathlessly, the blonde deliberately biting down on her bottom lip as she fixes her roommate with a sultry look, "Get over here already, baby."

"Perrie," Jade repeats in a much firmer tone as a seemingly pained expression manifests itself on the brunette's facial features, the brown-eyed girl averting her gaze as she considers the consequences of the words that are about to fall past her lips, "I don't...think...that w-we should do this."

"I think that we should," Perrie opposes easily, the blonde seemingly undeterred by Jade's sudden indecisiveness.

"But...why?" Jade resists in an unconvinced tone, the petite girl unable to properly reject Perrie's assertion as her mind remains primarily focused on the intoxicating kisses she had exchanged with Perrie only a few minutes prior.

"Well, why not?" Perrie counters, the blue-eyed girl removing her hand from inside her jeans with an indignant huff while shifting restlessly on her bed.
