A new wonder had sparked Kalda's interest as to why France was even at Britain's house to begin with.
Veneziano had introduced France to Kalda when she was quite young, and he had told Kalda that France was his older brother.
Kalda had found it weird at first, realizing that she then had a new family member, an uncle to be specific, to get used to.
To say the least, Kalda wasn't really...used to France yet, but Kalda thought that maybe she would be later.
Kalda gave France a long, confused, and blank stare, not really sure what to say.
"Uh," Kalda drawled awkwardly, "you...wanna' come in?"
"Zhat is what I came here to do," France replied with a flirty smirk.
Kalda saw a secret look of worry in his blue eyes, but she ignored it as she stepped aside to let him enter the house.
"I didn't zhink Veneziano and Romano would have allowed you to work for Britain," France told her.
"They...actually don't know yet," Kalda said slowly. "Please don't tell them. They'll kill me if they ever find out."
"You can always trust me to keep your secrets," France grinned in reply. "I love scandals."
Kalda blushed, a yelp of disgust escaping out of her throat.
"I hope you don't really mean that," she told him nervously. "I'll tell them when I'm ready, I promise. Just...please don't let it leak out until then, okay?"
"Like I said," France winked, "your secret is safe with me."
Kalda sighed a little in relief, walking into Britain's study to let him know that France was over.
She groaned in annoyance once she saw that Britain was officially passed out on the floor of his study, knowing that his hangover wasn't completely gone yet.
"Did he drink again?" France asked, and Kalda jumped in fright due to his sudden presence.
France sounded displeased, and so Kalda had to think of a response quickly so that her uncle didn't fume all over the place.
"He didn't drink the tea that I had brought him, either," Kalda replied bitterly, gesturing to the now cold tea on the top of his desk. "I see that this is a habit of his?"
"Quite," France answered flatly. "Bring him out here and into zhe living room. I know how to wake him up."
Kalda nodded and dragged her unconcsious master out of the study and into the living room, just like France had told her to do.
She carefully set Britain on the floor, hoping that he wouldn't kill her after the situation blew over.
"What do we do now?" Kalda asked, looking at her uncle's annoyed look.
"Grab a pitcher of water," he told her.
Kalda immediately knew where everything was going, so she denied that order.
"He'll get so mad if I allow you to do that," Kalda said as she crossed her arms across her chest, "and I don't want to be held responsible for his anger."
France may have scared Kalda by nature, especially when she was younger, but Britain becoming angry at her scared Kalda even more.
"Well, we can't just let him lie here unconscious, eizher," France argued.
