"who's tatedoll?" she asked, looking at the comments on the picture zach had just posted.
"jonah's ex."
"ex? then why is she commenting on your photo?"
"no clue. they only broke up recently, though. so we're still kind of friends."
"oh okay."
the two finished eating and headed out. the olive garden branch they went to was walking distance from a park so they decided to walk to said park.
the walk was silent aside from the small moments of excitement whenever they saw a dog. they arrived at the park and decided to stay by the small pond.
"hey do you meet the boys?"
"boys?" she asked, not really sure what he meant.
"the rest of the band. they really want to meet you."
"oh, i don't know. maybe? we both know how socially awkward i can get. i don't want to embarrass myself in front of your friends."
"you'll be fine, don't worry."
"you'll be fine, don't worry." she mocked.
"i'm serious."
"i know, it's just- i kinda suck at human interaction."
"but you talk to me all the time."
"yeah, but it's different with you, i'm not afraid of judgement around you."
"they aren't going to judge you."
"and how do you know that?" she asked as her breathing quickened and thoughts flowed into her head like a waterfall.
"because i know them-" but she couldn't hear the rest of what he was saying. his lips were moving but no sound was coming out. her world had gone silent.
panic attack
all zach could think of was pulling a stiles. but he couldn't do that, it could ruin their friendship. but he'd wanted to kiss her for so long. now is not the time to think about that, zach.
he enveloped her in a hug which ended with her pushing him off, the tears still streaming down her face. he had to do it, it was the only way.
so he did it. he cupped her cheeks with his hands and kissed her. just like that, he felt her body relax. her hands had stopped shaking and her lips..
her lips moved in sync with his. she continued to kiss him, despite her panic attack subsiding, despite the voice in her telling her it would ruin their friendship.
surprisingly, the kiss didn't feel like it was wrong. she thought that if they ever kissed, he would immediately pull away with a 'what the fuck are you doing?' look on his face.. but instead, she felt- was it sparks? was that the word to describe the feeling?
she felt sparks during the kiss. how cliché.

a/n: okay so i'm sorry for not updating skksks i won't be able to since it's exam week for me oof. but i will be on a plane next week so i'll have time then.. also road trips after that plane ride will be a time i write so everyone prepare HAHAHHA jk
