I've waited so long for this day to come. Today I will walk out of here a new person, leaving my past behind. I will always be scared but I won't forget the things my past taught me. One Hundred and fifty one days since I've been outside of the place, time to make up for lost time...
"Rose?...your mother is here" Linda a middle age woman that has been working here majority of her life informed. Honestly, I don't know how she keeps up with of these people's problems and still be the most vibrant, happy soul that she is.
Walking to the reception, with my luggage in one hand and my phone other that also haven't seen for six months. There stands the women that gave birth to me, woman that taught me always to see the bright side, she looks different, hair longer, skin tanned but the thing that didn't change is her breath taking smile
"Rose, I missed you so much..." She cried as she hugged me. She's holding onto me as if she's losing me
"Mom...I've missed you too but chill "
"Sorry honey, come on lets go "walking towards the exit. Final glance at this place before I leave permanently. Sun sent tingling sensations on my skin. My complexion must be pale as Edward in twilight, because they don't let 'patients' outside.
"Uhm....mom where is your suv?" I mentioned as we stand infront of a Toyota Rava4.
"I sold it " she shrugged climbing in the drivers seat. Thinking this is not a big deal, new beginnings right?
Engine came to life when she turn the ignition, the ride was silence, tune of a song I can't remember played in the background. She past our street where our house is that's odd "Aren't we suppose to be taking that route to our house? "
"Sold that too, you will soon see our new home " she cheered taping to the beat of the song...okay she's way to vibrant. I didn't say anything because what should I say I just shrugged, watching the trees swish by.
Mother didn't say anything as she pulled up to a mansion, a freaking mansion...seriously?. She laughed at my shock expression and climb out. "Rose, come on John and Marchell are waiting for you " that got me to continue my star struck later, because I haven't seen my brothers in a long time, more specific one hunderd and fifty one days.
As we entered mom shouted "Boys, where are you?" and with that she got a reply " KITCHEN!"
Their backs were towards us, they both look like they have been working out these past months. I sat at the counter " I would like one of John's famous milkshakes and Marchell's famous pancakes "
"ROSE! "they both screamed and tumbled around the counter to get to me. I was embrace in a bear hug. Okay here they go again with this holding on too me shit.
"Guys?...please go make what I orderd"
"One milkshake "
"And one pancake coming up "
"ROSE...Come to the living room " mother yelled. Walking to what I assume is the living room. "Come sit, I want to talk to you " I sat next to her taking in my surroundings, the living room was decorated with black and white, with a flat screen and some paintings...wait those are my paintings.
"Mom, you hanged my paintings why? "
"Because I needed a reminder of a beautiful talented child I have " she smiled at me "Okay so you're wondering where I got all this money..." I shrugged and she continued "I got promoted as a CEO, when I got the chance I sold the old house because of all the....well you know what and brought this house "
"Okay- " I got cut off
"I want to show you your new room" she said wiggling her eyebrows.
Standing on the second floor, three doors on the right and three on the left " First two on your right is your brothers rooms, last one is the bathroom. On your left is my room and a guest room and this is yours " she says as we're standing at the last door, purple walls and a huge king size bed in the middle of the room with a joined bathroom and a balcony attached.
