For rest the of the afternoon my mother took me to varies of boutiques. Many dress and boutiques later, I came upon the perfect dress, it was a sweetheart dark green dress that fitted perfectly. Ready as I'll ever be for a dance that I don't want to attened.
"Thank you so much for coming today." my mother thanked me when she stopped outside my place.
"And thank you mom for the dress."
She hugged me before she sped off, at that moment that I realised that what I did today was a good thing, not getting that idiot fired but spending the day with my mom.
With that thought I walked to the house. John seated at the counter doing his work while his bitch of a girlfriend is sleeping on the couch.
"You know we can just throw her out," I sat next to him.
"Leave her, she's sleeping" he replied.
"Sleeping dragon,"
"Who were you with the whole day?"
"Mom," I said playing with an apple.
"Did she come and pick you up?" he asked.
"No, I actually went to her," I replied "Why didn't you wake me up this morning?"
"Why?...Any reason I should be worried?" he looked up from his work "And I wanted to teach you a lesson, not to make fun of the person that is your ride to school."
"I just thought it would pass time, she appeared in one of my nightmares," I sighed "Please take note, you will be a shitty teacher."
"Did you tell her?"
"No, I couldn't she looked really happy and I couldn't ruin that," I walked to my room "I'll be in the shower if you need me."
"Okay," he mindlessly said.
I wasn't long in the shower, only five minutes when the doorbell rang. Thinking it was one of my friends I quickly finish up, putting a long sleeve shirt and baggy sweatpants on. I was right, Rebbecca sat on my bed when I came out the bathroom but she didn't look very happy.
"Becc-"
"Oh cut the crap!" she cut me off, "You know why I'm here."
"And that is?" I walked to the mirror to comb my hair.
"That you spread the rumor," she screamed.
"What rumo-" she did it again.
"About me sleeping with the whole squad" she answered rudely.
"I wasn't even in school today," I spat at her, "It must have been someone else."
"I don't want to hear your excuses, I know its you" she stood up from the bed.
"Why would I do such thing?" I asked her.
"To make me look like the bad guy!" she yelled furiously at me.
"Assumptions, stop making that shit," I calmly said to her, "I wasn't even in school today."
"Like you would miss one day of school, what's the matter found out that you are pregnant Peter's baby?" she mocked me.
"See, there you go again with that shit," I replied, "I think you should leave."
"Not before I hurt you like you've hurt me," she said pulling a revolver out her purse.
"Becca, don't do something you'll regret." I pleaded as my heart skipped a beat at the sight of the revolver "We can talk this out,-"
"No!" she yelped with tears in her eyes, "You've taken the on true happiness from me, the only way now is to make it even, to make you feel how I felt."
