Waking up beside an unknown woman is nothing new for me. That's how my life goes. Another day or night means another woman. Mostly of course, my secretary is an exception. I've been screwing that girl for a while now and I feel how she's getting attached to me. Everyday she's asking me if she can come home with me. I should stop it before she asks if we could start anything serious. Happened to me before and is really awkward. The brunette beside me was stirring, means she's waking up.

"Morning sweetie." Pet names? Really? Not in the mood for this.

"Get dressed and use my private elevator to get out." I told her before getting up myself. She was a good fling but nothing more.

"Asshole." I heard her mumbling.

"Thanks, I take that as an compliment." I said sarcastically. Rolling her eyes, she got out without another word. How I love mornings like this. Lightning a cigarette, I made my way downstairs. I had time, I was the CEO, I had the control so I was allowed to come in whenever I want. My breakfast was already prepared, like always. Today's special, typical British breakfast. Or should I say everydays special. My routine is getting on my nerves. I need a change. Maybe another meal tomorrow? Or a completely different woman? No. Something much deeper. I'm not in the mood to think about that. Deciding I'm also not in the mood for orange juice to my breakfast, I decided to browse thru my whisky collection.

"Let's see." I mumbled, my cigarette still in my mouth. Getting out a 14 year old Benchmark Single Mart, I got myself a whisky glass. Adding ice, my perfect morning whisky was ready. Glancing at the clock, I knew that I had to leave soon. Just because I can come in whenever I want, doesn't mean I have nothing to do. Quickly downing my whisky and eating my breakfast, I took a quick shower. I decided for a dark grey suit today, matching my mood. I left the as soon as my driver texted me that he was there. Leaving my penthouse I got into the elevator to ride downstairs. While walking along the reception, I gave the hot receptionist a cheeky smile. Maybe she was the woman for this night? My smile faded as soon as I walked out and saw that filthy homeless girl.

"Morning." She said, too happy for my liking. Ignoring and avoiding her was the best. How could she be happy everyday without anything? No money, no house, nothing. I really don't understand she must be crazy.

"How are the streets? How long will the drive take today?" I asked my driver Mason. He's a 46 year old man with a big family. He has five kids and lives in a beautiful house. He's one of my favourite people cause he never annoys me and does just what I want.

"There's a bit of traffic so just about 20 minutes Miss Edwards." Great, enough time for another cigarette. Opening the window a bit, I lit my cigarette. In some way it relaxed me. I enjoyed it while it lasted, looking out of the window into the busy streets. When did my life get so boring? I'm messed up and I know that but I always thought they my life was enjoyable and exciting. After finishing my last puff the drive lasted just about five minutes. Getting out of the car I wasn't really excited to see my workers. When was I ever? My emotions didn't show often but whenever you see me entering this building, you see my face going blank. Some of my workers don't learn and still greet me and some know that I will never answer them and don't even try anymore. Entering my office, I slumped down in my office chair. I don't even know what my schedule is today, so I had to call my secretary.

"Heather, in my office." I don't use please or thanks. Seconds after she was standing there. Always trying to be perfect for me, obeying me and being scared of doing something wrong.

"Yes Miss Edwards?" She asked shyly while pushing her glasses up. She's almost too innocent.

"What is my schedule for today?" I asked in a cold tone. She searched on the tablet for a bit before answering.
