Chapter 9

"And you're okay with that?" I asked her. She was offering me a new life. I can't turn this opportunity down but at the same time, I've been thinking. Why me? After everything that has happened and I got to know her a tiny bit, this wasn't her usual behavior. Yes, I don't know what her usual behavior is, but I can assume after all the stories I've heard and after seeing it myself...

"Jade, this was my idea, I planned it with you, of course I'm okay with it." A light smile was tugging her lips. Let me tell you what happened two weeks ago at her apartment. So after she offered me literally everything, we sat down and planned. She showed me some apartments she owned around London and asked me which one I liked best. I chose an apartment that was near her building, not because of her of course, after walking past it a couple of times I just thought living there would be peaceful. She also gave me a lot of money, enough to buy myself a whole new wardrobe. The money she gave me obviously did not leave one dent in her bank account. And now here comes the point where I almost started to not believe her again...

"I want you to work for me. I have hella paper stuff around my office and just too many files that are not in order. You can fix that and keep them organized." 

I agreed to all of it. At first, I was suspicious of course but now I desperately want to start this new life. I'm a little scared though, everything is linked to her, all the stuff I own and my new job. I can't live my life without her in it at the moment which sounds crazy to me. Shortly after having everything planned out, we heard a voice speaking up and telling us that everything is back to normal. I couldn't think straight at that exact moment. I just spent hours with one of the most powerful CEOs on earth, which changed my life. Imagine me not being there or leaving an hour earlier... I still can't wrap my head around it.

"You ready?" She asked me. Was I? She agreed to pick me up every day for work from now on, these are probably going to be the most awkward car rides ever. We of course talk from time to time but I don't consider us friends or something like that. She's my boss now... and also the woman who pays for my apartment and clothes.

"Yeah sure." Making our way down the stairs, we left the apartment building and got into her car with her personal chauffeur. I watched this car come and go while I was still on the streets, now I'm sitting in it with the blonde girl I've also watched come and go.

"Okey, when we arrive I'm going to introduce you to some people. Afterward, an assistant of mine will show you how everything is going to work for you and what you got to do all day. I'm attending meetings constantly so I won't see you often, if you need some kind of guidance or help, ask my closest friend Jesy, how I said I'll introduce you. If I enter my office and start to work on stuff, don't stop to organize my files." She explained.

"Understood, boss." I answered smugly.

"Oh, you call me boss now princess?" Might or might not have said it because I knew she would say something about it.

"Aren't you officially my boss now? Or should I call you Miss Edwards?" She shifted slightly. Was I making her nervous?

"To be honest, you could call me whatever you want to, but the other employees would be kinda thrown off so, just call me Miss Edwards then." Noted. We arrived shortly after. The building was humongous. I couldn't believe that this is my new workspace now. We entered and Perrie was immediately greeted by her employees. She did not say a thing, walked past with a nod. We got in the elevator, where Perrie pressed the highest button with the number 66. This building has 66 floors?!

"Don't you greet the people who work for you? Very disrespectful Miss Edwards." I said playfully but was also serious about it.

"There are too many, I usually just greet the closest ones." We exited together and walked down a hall. Everything in here looked way too pretty and expensive to touch. While looking around and admiring all the pieces of art on the wall, I heard someone speak up loudly.

"There you are loser. Wanna get coffee or breakfa-" The tall brown-haired girl stopped and looked me up and down.

"Good morning to you too, Jesy. I want to introduce you to someone. This is-"

"Her." She said, a smirk visible on her lips. Perrie narrowed her eyes.

"I'm sorry how rude of me, my name's Jesy Nelson, I've known Perrie for so long I can even remember her shitting her diapers." Jesy laughed and I couldn't contain the giggle that left my mouth. Perrie whipped her head around.

"So you think that's funny Jade?" She asked in a serious tone. Oops.

"Oh, oh god I'm sorry I didn't mean to disrespect yo-" Now Perrie was the one laughing.

"Geez, you really need to stop believing me everything. Okay so Jesy this is Jade, her file should be in your office and Jade this is Jesy, the only person who can annoy me without getting fired." She smiled. Jesy slung her arm around Perrie's shoulder. They honestly looked like they were really close.

"I got to attend a meeting. Jesy you got her?" Perrie asked, raising her eyebrows. Jesy winked before answering.

"Yes, ma'am." Jesy patted the blonde's shoulder one last time before placing her hand on my shoulder.

"So Jade, this is going to be interesting." She smiled. What's that supposed to mean? Does she know the whole story?

"You got to tell me one thing though before we start." Jesy said while leaning against the wall behind her.

"Sure." I smiled.

"How did you do it?" She asked curiously. I'm not sure what she's talking about.

"Did what?" I asked confused.

"I never thought I would see it, maybe dreamed about it once or twice but... how did you get Perrie to change?"

I did what...

This chapter was a liiiittle bit rushed and short (sorry for that btw) but I wanted to tell you guys something. I'm planning on writing about other LGBT ships. I love Jerrie with all my heart and I will most probably write about them again but I want to try something new for once :) 

I don't know which ship yet and what the storyline is going to be about but I just know that in the near future there's gonna be different content from me. You guys can leave some suggestions if you want🥰 And I, of course, won't start sth new before finishing my two books haha
