"This has got to be a fucking joke..." I mumbled. Huffing out annoyed I made my way back to my penthouse, not expecting that god damn homeless girl to follow me. I stormed thru the door, that girl right behind me. She closed the door while I took out my phone. I don't know how long the power is gonna be out and even tho I'm the boss I still need to tell Jesy that I won't be coming or maybe just be late.

"Sit on the couch, don't say a word and let me take some phone calls." I told her annoyed. I'm doing something good and this is how the universe is rewarding me? Trapping me in my own penthouse with this homeless girl seems like no reward at all. Dialing my secretary's number first, she picked up seconds later.

"Miss Edwards?" She asked curiously.

"Yes it's me, listen Heather the power is out in the whole building and I can't get out of here, means I'm stuck in here for I don't know how long. Handle some stuff for me today." It wasn't a question, it was a demand.

"Not a problem ma'am, hope you'll get out soon." Heather told me happily. With that I ended the call, couldn't hear her voice just a second longer. Next phone call was Jesy. Tapping on her contact, she picked aber after nearly a fukcing minute.

"Why didn't you pick up earlier you asshole?" I asked annoyed. I turned around, seeing her watching me attentively.

"Sorry boss I was maybe actually working, not like you which brings me to the question, where the fuck are you?" Jesy asked, also annoyed. Rubbing my temple I asked myself why I'm dealing with such a shitty life.

"You fucktard, I'm stuck in my penthouse cause the power is out and thers no way im getting out of here." Sitting across from her, I watched her for a second. She was now lookin out of the big windows. Her facial features weren't even that ugly. She was... exotic. What the fuck Perrie? I shook my head, forcing myself to not think about her that way. I should listen to what Jesy was saying right now.

"...so I'll do that alirght? By the way hope you're stuck with a pretty girl from last night or something, could get boring there maybe you could get some action." I could already hear the smirk on her face. I was stuck with a girl, that was the only true thing.

"I'm stuck with a homeless girl I helped last night Jesy, no action over here." I answered, at the mention of her she turned her head, now looking at me again, but weirdly. Maybe because I was talking about some action aka a fling.

"Wait wait wait, you? helped someone? Perrie I believe alot of things you say but that, that is just basically a lie." She laughed on the other end. Wow I'm that cold that not even my best friend believes me that I helped someone.

"The sad part is, it's true, I helped someone and now I'm stuck with her, great isnt it?" I added sarcastically. She looked down at her fingers, playing with them. I wouldn't say I regret helping her but I'm not comfortbale with this right here. A homeless girl, a girl I don't even know the name of is sitting on my couch. Makes me feel weird. But, it makes me feel...

"Alright Perrie, you're really funny but I have work to do. Have fun being stuck on your own dude byeee." She stated, before she hung up.

"But-" And that was it. Great talk with my best friend. Throwing my phone beside me, I huffed out annoyed. I don't know what to do with this girl. Maybe ask her what her name is, could be smart.

"What's you name?" Didn't even sound like a question with the way I said it.

"Jade." She answered. Jade. Never had a woman in my life called Jade. I looked at her, signaling her to continue.

"Jade Thirlwall is my full name." She said.

"Alright then Jade Thirlwall, I won't stop calling you princess..." She rolled her eyes annoyed.
