Niall's POV

I don't know what came over me but I just really wanted to kiss him. Especially after Rue came over. I did feel jealous that she held his hand, hugged him, made him laugh and smile, and kissed him on the cheek. I just needed to feel his lips on mine.

I started leaning closer to his face as confidence was slowly slipping away. " I should've done this when we met.. " I said then crashed our lips together. A huge electricity wave went through my entire body. His lips were amazingly soft. Yet rough at the same time, it's weird. He didn't kiss back until a few seconds after. Our lips moved in perfect sync. I felt his tongue slide across my bottom lip, freezing for a split second, I let him in. He explored my whole mouth with his tongue.

Suddenly I realized want I was doing and pulled away quickly. Zayn groaned? He doesn't like me does he? Why would he kiss back then? I looked at him and then realized I was still in top of him. " I-I'm sorry... " I said barely audible and ran out of his room, and out of his house.

Zayn's POV

He pulled away quickly and I groaned. His eyes were wide and he looked down and got off of me. " I-I'm sorry... " he whispered barely audible and grabbed his clothes and ran out of my room and out of my house. I sighed sadly and picked my phone up.

Rue... I feel sick... ~Zayn.

I sent her a text. Even though she's probably fucking Liam knowing her. I felt tears threatening my eyes when I put my phone down. I couldn't believe I actually thought he liked me... He probably regrets it! Hell he'll probably just end up hurting me like Markus did.. No Niall would never do that! Would he?

I felt my cheeks getting wet from the tears and I could feel my eyes getting heavy. I dozed off until I heard my front door slam. I shot straight up and looked at the clock. 4:37am. Who could be here at this hour? I got up slowly when I heard footsteps up the steps. I heard a sniffle and my door to my bedroom flew open. Rue was standing there, tears flowing down her cheeks and her eyes flooding with them. I gasped and ran over to her pulling her into a hug.

" Rue babe, what's wrong? " I asked as I brought her to my bed. She cried into my chest for a while before answering.

" He didn't protect me! " She yelled, yet her voice cracked. I pulled away from her and looked her straight in the eyes.

" Liam? " I asked seriously. She slowly nodded and I could feel my blood boiling with anger. I stood up and grabbed her hand. " Let's go pay him a visit.. " I said harshly.

" Zayn? What are you doing? " she attempted to pull me back. I turned around and pulled her close to me. Our faces were not but a few centimeters apart.

" I told him if he hurt you he wouldn't be able to walk " I said. She looked at me in disbelief and the. Started to protest.

" He was drunk Zayn! So was Harry and Louis! Don't hurt him! " she pleaded.

" Rue... I told him if he hurt you he would pay. I love you to death. Now I gotta go beat the shit out of hi-- " I was suddenly cut off by her lips on mine. I got sparks just like the first time. I may be gay but I have to say, I would go straight for Rue.

Our lips moved in sync and I heard a small gasp. I pulled away and turned around to see Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall all standing there. At the top of my steps.

Louis looked pissed, Harry looked angry but more upset, Liam looked broken and Niall... It shattered my heart. He looked so weak and like he was about to cry.

" Zayn... Why were you kissing Rue...? " Niall and Liam ask at the same time. Louis and Harry looked confused on how Niall knew Rue.

" I uh... I don't know... Go ahead... Beat the shit out of me, kill me, just don't hurt her. " I said looking at Liam and Niall. Liam and Niall took a step forward. I felt a hard object following by sharp pain go through my face. I collapsed on the floor, tears streaming down my face as I touched my nose. I winced from the pain and looked up to see No one. Where did they go? I felt a foot collide with my gut and I coughed. I ended up coughing out blood.
