The Last Royal Hybrid

Chapter 1

My name is Khloe, I'm 13 years old and my parents died 1 year ago and I don't have any living relatives. So I live in an orphanage in Brooklyn, New York. The orphanage is by the woods were a group of werewolves live. The reason how I know there's a group of werewolves out there is because I went exploring during the night since I couldn't really sleep. I've actually dreamed about being a part of that pack, but they won't accept me since I'm a hybrid no one will. Other supernatural creatures all call hybrids a monster. I'm part werewolf, vampire, banshee, mermaid, kitsune, dragon, and witch.

"Why can't I go to the woods!" I said wanting to just be outside again, the last time I went outside was about 4 or 5 months ago.

"Khloe it's too dangerous to even go out there." said Miss Polly in a serious voice.

So I went to my room and stayed there waiting until it was nighttime so I could sneak out without getting caught. Something felt wrong, but It was different this time. I became restless like I needed to go for a run in my wolf form. So I jumped out of my window which was on the second level. Through mid jump I transformed into my wolf form so when I landed I was on all fours. It's always fun running in wolf form, because all the stress, worry, anger, and pain all just disappear. I just don't want to run into that pack since I'm supposed to be an "omega" and I've seen what they do with unwanted omega's they either kill them or force them to join their pack. I've seen it happen before. I was so worried that I didn't even hear that I was being followed. So I ran faster until I got to a clearing. It was surrounded by trees and it was a full moon. It seemed like every wolf from that pack was coming from the tree lines. I had to act like a weak and scared wolf but I knew that I could beat all of them without getting a scratch. I noticed two wolves that were heading towards me. It was obvious that they were alpha and beta. They didn't like that I was on their territory. I knew they were going to kill me. So I decided I was going to kill them first. In one move I killed that pack. I decided to go find their pack house since they were werewolves after all. I traveled for miles until I came across this mansion that was out in the middle of the forest. I transformed back to my original form and started looking through it. It seemed like it was abandoned until I found a person her name was Hailey. It's been 5 years. Me and Hailey are now best friends but at first she hated me for killing her pack but after a while she forgave me. She told me that she was an omega and they forced her to join their pack. Also we started a pack together. She's actually my beta.

"Khloe can we go to the bank today since we've been 18 for a couple of months now, and we both need the money?" Hailey asked me I just found it strange she asked that.

"I guess since our families left us inheritance money." I said wondering what she was up to.

We drove about 2 hours into town since that was the closest bank to us. The only time I've been into town was to get groceries. When me and Hailey got to the bank it wasn't busy at all. So we went inside and it didn't take long at all. My family gave me $200,000 originally it was $50,000 but their savings went directly into my inheritance. Hailey's family gave her about $100,000. On the car ride home Hailey seemed like she knew something. I just hope she didn't find out that I'm a hybrid but I know I have to tell her soon. I'm thinking about telling her when we get to the house.

We arrived at the house, but something felt off like something bad was going to happen. When me and Hailey entered the house my sister Pearl was there waiting for us.

"Pearl, how are you still alive? I thought you died in the car accident with our parents?" I said shocked to see her still alive.

"I survived the car accident and decided to hide." Pearl said.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I said getting angry and confused.

"Because I didn't want to see you I came here to see Hailey." Pearl said as she opened up a portal that I didn't know where it led too.

"Goodbye monster." Hailey said as she walked through the portal with Pearl.

Once they went through the portal. I started running towards the portal, because I had so many unanswered questions, but when I got to the other side it was magical there were so many other supernatural creatures. I saw werecoyote, a banshee, and so many more. I also noticed that there were symbols that showed other people what they were just to pass into this world. This world was so mesmerizing that I almost forgot why I was here in the first place until I saw Pearl and Hailey running. I guess they saw me entering this world. So I started running after them. They were pushing people in front of me so I could lose them in a crowd of people, but I kept dodging those people. Pearl and Hailey ran into a palace it was made out of some type of grey marble or pearl, but when I went inside the palace it was even more beautiful and anyone could get lost if they didn't know their way around.

I had lost Pearl and Hailey because I was so busy looking around. Until I saw this girl that seemed like she could help me find Pearl and Hailey. So I walked up to her accidentally scaring her.

"Sorry for scaring you, but have you seen two girls that are running?" I asked hoping that this girl knew where they went.

"I think so does one of them have blonde hair and the other one with almost black hair?" She asked me with this unsure look.

"Yes, what way did they go?" I asked her, getting excited that I might catch them.

"Let me show you, it get's confusing since this palace is like a maze." She said laughing a little bit.

"Thank you, by the way my name is Khloe." I said as she was leading me towards them.

"That's such a pretty name, and my name is Luna." Luna said without turning around to see me.

It felt like we were walking forever well again. This is a huge palace that has a lot of rooms. It probably has around 5 ballrooms. I was admiring all of the different paintings that were hanging from the walls. Until Luna stopped and I bumped right into her. It looked like we stopped in front of a throne room.

 "Luna, why did we stop?" I asked her because she wasn't even moving.

"I think I found those people you were looking for." Luna said in a scared voice like she was almost afraid of Pearl or Hailey.

"Thanks Luna, but I can handle them from here." I said as I stepped out from behind her.

What I saw looked like a crime scene just happened. There was blood everywhere including on their clothes. Pearl was sitting in one of the thrones while Hailey stood by her side. I pulled off my jacket that I was wearing so I could fight Pearl. I was also kind of glad that I wore a tank top, with jeans, and my grey converse. I pulled my long auburn hair up into a ponytail so I don't get my hair in my face while I fight Pearl. All of a sudden I heard a gasp that came directly behind me. I turned around and I saw Luna with a shocked look on her face. I don't know what she saw but she came walking towards me. Then she put her hand on my left shoulder blade.

"Khloe you have the royal mark." She said pushing me towards a mirror so I could look at my shoulder blade.

I looked in the mirror and I saw this crescent moon with stars around it. Beneath the crescent moon was this wolf howling to the moon and wearing a crown. I didn't believe what I was seeing. I didn't even know that was on my shoulder. It seemed like it just magically appeared there.
