Chapter 7

I wanted to turn around to see what was following, but I had this feeling that if I did turn around I would be very scared. So I just stayed facing the wall and tried hard not to look behind me because I didn't want to know what kind of monster was behind me. I finally gave in and turned around and there wasn't anything there. So I decided to head back to the main floor in the castle. While on my way back I got even more lost because I took to many right and left turns.

Crystal and Katarina found me wandering around in this basement thing, and they didn't look too happy to see me down here. So I slowly started backing up because I don't want to see them angry at me. I thought I backed up into a wall and I turned around and saw a minotaur I screamed and ran up the stairs as fast as I could. Before I knew it I was in my room hiding in the closet behind ball gowns dresses. I didn't want that thing or anyone to find me.

Crystal was trying to wake me up. I don't even remember falling asleep at all. There was another person with Crystal. He had dark blonde hair and his eyes were these greyish blue. He had this bad boy vibe. He was about 6'3 wearing this red flannel with a black shirt underneath it. He was also wearing black ripped jeans with combat boots.

When I stopped staring at him and got up. I realized that our height difference was a lot and I'm only 5'2. I felt really short just looking at him. I guess Crystal saw me staring at him because she cleared her throat.

"Khloe this is Alistair, he's the creature you saw in the lowest part of the castle." Crystal said gesturing towards the man who was standing before me.

"What kind of creature are you?" I asked Alistair because I didn't see him at all.

    "Are you sure you want to know?" Alistair said in a deep voice.

"No, I totally don't want to know." I said in a sarcastic voice.

    "Is that sarcasm?" Alistair asked me confused because it seems like he has never gotten sarcasm from other people.

"Yes it is." I said.

    "What do you think followed you when you were on the lowest floor in the castle?" Alistair asked me like I know the answer to that question.

"I don't know, maybe a minotaur all I know is that I shouldn't look at whatever was following me." I said looking at Alistair like he was crazy because I never even looked at the creature who was behind me.  "More like a devil." Alistair said underneath his breath.
"Alistair, just tell her!" Crystal yelled at Alistair because he wouldn't get to the point.
    "Fine I will, I'm the devil." Alistair said he was disappointed in himself.
"So you're the devil of this realm?" I asked because there's also another devil on earth too.
    "Yes, my brother is lucifer morningstar." Alistair said.
"Ok I'm not going to ask anything anymore." I said as I was leaving my room.
I still couldn't even believe what was happening, and that there is even a devil in this realm. I just don't know how many supernatural creatures there are. I decided to go to the library to take my mind off of things. Since reading helps me calm down and so I can learn more about this realm. While I was reading I found out that my bloodline has gone back to when the realm was created. There's a theory that my ancestry's created this realm with their powers so every supernatural creature from Earth could live in this realm. Another theory is that these gods created this realm but had to give some of their power to a family, and for some reason it was my family. These gods that some people believed in were called Astarte goddess of life, Thalia goddess of justice, Terra goddess of revenge, Dearil god of death, Aadish god of knowledge, and Emrys god of immortality.
