The Last Royal Hybrid

Chapter 3

This random person just came into the room I was staying in for now. She looked like she was a royal guard. She could also be a warrior and I was accidentally in her room. This blonde almost brown haired woman was coming towards the bed that I was in. So I started panicking, because I don't know what this strange woman wanted.

     "Hello Khloe I'm here to train you." This strange woman said calmly like she knew I was panicking.

"What are you training me for?" I asked because I've never trained in my life, and she expects me to train.

     "To help you master all of your abilities that you will have." She said looking at me like I was crazy.

"Well good luck with that, because I don't train for anything." I said laughing, because I thought it was funny.

     "It's not funny Khloe, you have to be proper for everything that might happen to you." She said with this serious look on her face.

"What do I have to prepare for?" I asked since I was still confused, because I just banished the person who was the only evil here that I know of.

     "Evil hides in the shadows so don't expect it to be all fixed." She said she sounded annoyed at me.

"I don't even know your name. So how can I trust you?" I asked because I do have trust issues.

     "My name is Crystal." She said, looking not impressed by my attitude.

"I still don't trust you." I said giving her a little bit more attitude.

     "Khloe you need to train and I'm not taking a no for an answer!" Crystal yelled because I wasn't moving fast enough for her and I basically didn't have a choice.

"Fine." I said rolling my eyes at Crystal.

     "I really hate my job right now" Crystal said leaving the room I was in.

     Great now I have to train for something that I didn't know I had to do. Especially since I just woke up from fainting I still don't know what day it is. But I had since I didn't have a choice. The closet was full of ball gowns and clothes I wouldn't need. So I try to send over my closet by using my power. I really don't know if it will work. Surprisingly it did work on all of my clothes that I have. All my clothes were organized. My leggings and ripped jeans were all close to each other. Then my sweaters and shirts were all together but color coded. I was amazed I could actually do that. I know I have to hurry up since Crystal is probably waiting for me. So I just put on a pair of leggings and a brown sweater with some combat boots. I went outside the castle to see where Crystal might be, but I didn't find her anywhere so I decided to just wander around to see what the town is like. I've never really been in a supernatural world before. There's literally all different kinds of supernatural creatures here. For some reason there all in their human form, but they all have symbols of what creature they are. I wonder if Pearl had something to do with that or if people just choose to do that.

     I was so busy with looking around that I didn't notice that Crystal was walking towards me. Until I felt like someone was watching so I turned around to see Crystal, and she wasn't happy with me at all.

"What are you doing here Khloe?!" Crystal said, pulling me towards this forest that was right next to the city.

"Crystal what are you doing?" I asked because I didn't know if she would just kill me.

"I was supposed to train you, but you decided to go to the city." Crystal said and I knew that she was annoyed at me because of the tone she used.

"You never said where to meet you." I said being sarcastic as usual.

"Sorry about that, but I thought Luna would tell you." Crystal said as if she was confused about something.

"Luna never came to see me." I said trying to piece together on what was happening.

"Just forget about that and let's focus on your training." Crystal said getting some books from this hidden bookcase in a tree.

"Has that bookcase always been there?" I asked just in case I needed any of those books.

"Yeah, but only a few people know about this bookcase." Crystal said getting a book that seemed like a spellcasting book.

"What's that book about?" I asked because I wasn't sure what that book is about.

"It's actually to help you control all of your powers." Crystal said opening the book and placing it in front of me.

"But I have full control over my powers." I said even though I haven't even transformed into any of my other forms except my wolf.

"Luna told me the look on your face when you blasted a powerful power at Pearl." Crystal said pushing the book even closer to me.

"Ok fine, I haven't fully controlled my powers or forms yet." I said as I crossed my arms like I was a little kid again.

"Khloe you need to realize that you're the only one that can rule this realm right now." Crystal said. 

"Fine, what's the first thing I need to know?" I asked Crystal because I don't know the first thing about learning to control my powers and forms.

"The first thing you need to know is the basics which is knowing the source of your power." Crystal said

"How will I know what the source of my power is?" I asked because I don't know were my power comes from. All I've done is do simple spells.

"Well you would need to meditate to focus all of your energy, because it's important to find out what type of magic you would use more." Crystal said sitting on the ground.

"So I basically just have to meditate?" I asked because that seemed so easy to do.

"Well it's kind of more complicated than that?" Crystal said.

"What makes it more complicated?" I asked hoping it wasn't too scary or hard for me.

"Well once you meditate you would go inside your own head, but you will have to be careful because your mind is going to be dangerous" Crystal said bringing another book over to me.

"My mind won't be dangerous." I said because I'm confident that I will be okay in my mind.

"Everyone's mind is dangerous even if you're royalty." Crystal said like she was annoyed at what I said.
