ASHLEY'S POV

"911, please state your emergency,"

Andy sobbed in the background and I told him to shut up, "Yes, my bestfriend Alexandria Riley has been missing for a day. We don't know what happened to her,"

"Okay, please give me your address," I gave the lady on the other end of the receiver my house's address and I hung up.

"This is all my fault!" Andy cried, and said this more to himself than anybody else.

Suddenly, the front door opened and some guy with short blonde-ginger hair came in and went over to Andy.

"Chance!" Andy exclaimed, "Thanks for coming," he said smiling weakly.

"You're my best friend, I have to be here for you."

I shook his hand and we introduced ourselves but I already knew who he was, Andy used to show me these videos he used to make with him back in 2007. Pretty hilarious, but I knew now wasn't the time to bring it up.

A few minutes later Jake, Brittany, Sandra, and Jinxx came bursting through the door and were shortly followed by the police, and some lady and a man dressed in brown trench coats.

"Hello, I'm Detective Rosemary Benson, this is my partner Detective Applebaum." I introduced myself as well as the rest of the band and Brittany.

"We need to ask you what happened the night your friend Alexandria disappeared,"

Brittany piped up, her blonde hair in curls, no make-up, and a leather jacket with Jakes arm around her shoulder and his head resting on hers, "Well, that day, the band was having practice," she pointed at Andy, Jake, Sandra, and Jinxx and I, "So we had planned to go the movies,"

The Detective took out a pad and began writing on it and beckoned Brittany to continue, "Anyway, it was around I'd say, 6:30 when she said she was on her way and by 7:20 she wasn't there, I tried calling her cell but she wouldn't pick up, so I called Andy and told him," she gestured towards a sullen Andy, with dark shadows under his eyes, as if he hadn't slept for days. Which I wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't.

"We went out looking for her when we reached that street directly across the movie theater, and Jinxx and Jake found a silver necklace Ashley had given her a year back," the Detective merely nodded and said, "Yes, Officer Morgan tells us that Alexandria's father recently broke out of jail, do you know anything about him?"

I put my hands to my mouth, Brittany sunk herself into Jake, Jinxx was prepared to yank his hair out but Andy remained emotionless, no fear, or melancholy seemed to etch onto his face. He looked like had disappeared into nothingness.

"He...he beat her," Andy croaked, "He beat her, he almost killed her," he bit his fingernail and the Detectives looked at eachother nervously.

"We're going to look out on the street you found her necklace in and see if we find anything unusual," they said their goodbyes and were off in a rush.

Brittany sobbed into Jake's shoulder and Jake gently pushed his lips on her forehead, calming her. Telling her everything would be alright.

But would it?
