Andy's POV

A year has gone by, it's Christmas, we have a new member in the band because Sandra didn't like "where we were going" whatever that means. But the new drummer is crazy fun! He's really great to be around, his name is Christian but everyone calls him CC.

Brittany and Jake broke up a while back because... Well I don't think it's a break up when the girlfriend dies is it? She died in a car crash that night when she was making her way to the movies with Jake...pretty sad.

The funeral was depressing for the whole band, and it had a big impact on our lives, it didn't help that a week after Jakes mom got really sick.

That's when we wrote our song 'Carolyn' I tried looking at things from Jakes perspective when I wrote it, and the fans loved it.

We released out album, 'We Stitch These Wounds' in mid-July and we had over 7,000 buys in the first week! Crazy right! Plus, some of our merchandise started selling at stores like Hot Topic and the head manager came to us directly saying our merchandise was the #1 buy of their customers.

I love our fans.

Jinxx got a new girlfriend too. Her name is Sammi and the band LOVES her and I think she's good for Alex, ever since Brittany died she's been a little depressed.

Things have been distant between us lately, but not too bad I guess.

Ashley hasn't changed one bit. Still his perverted self I guess.

We're working on a new album called Set The World On Fire and probably releasing it 2010, 2011 or something.

But the thing that really bugged me was Alex. She doesn't really talk to me like she used to.

After being on tour half the time I rarely see her, and we just got back from Download Festival.

I could tell that from serious looks from Sammi, I was doing something wrong in the relationship but I didn't know what.

Is it sad I haven't had a proper kiss from her since August? Is it sad I haven't hugged her since July?

Is it sad I haven't even gotten her a Christmas present?

Is it sad I don't feel the same way anymore?

Ashley's POV

"Hey Lex," I called out to the brunette across the room. She no longer had the dyed hair with the red tips. She's not the girl I met 3 years ago, she's grown up, more mature than before.

She looked up from the book she was reading, 'Speak' by Laurie Halse Anderson.

"Yes?" she asked coldly.

I'm not sure if I can call her my best friend anymore. The only person she really talks to around here is Sammi, which I don't understand since she's known us longer.

I looked at her and beckoned her to sit next to me.

She got up irritably, and slumped next to me.

"What?" she growled.

I looked at her with a hurt look on my face and asked her what I'd been yearning to ask about since we'd gotten back from Download.
