Opening his eyes, Jimin groaned softly. He sat up in his bed, glancing at the clock on the bedside table beside him. 8:02am. The blond haired boy sighed and fell back on his pillows. He had gone out with Taehyung the night before, and now he fully regretted it.

A headache throbbed in his head, and he still smelt like alcohol and sweat. Maybe.. he could shower and then.. get some coffee. Coffee is always good. He gasped. Coffee! Jimin shot up in bed, scrambling to get out of the blankets. He had completely forgotten that he had the morning shift today. Jin would kill him if he was late!

Running into the bathroom, Jimin showered and got ready, grabbed his shoes, keys, and was out the door in a record time of 10 minutes.

Jimin hummed along to the song playing on the radio. It was Bang Bang Bang by BigBang one of his favorites.

Pulling up to Sadan cafe, where he worked, the boy quickly got out of his car and ran inside. As soon as he opened the door, he was greeted by the warm smell of coffee and pastries. A smile grew on his face, enhancing his already beautiful features.

The person behind the counter looked up, smiling back at Jimin.

"Fancy seeing you here Jimin. I was beginning to think you had a little too much fun last night," he teased.

Opening the door to the kitchen, Jimin laughed and turned to face the other boy.

"Very funny Jisung. I did almost forget about work though.." he trailed off sheepishly.

Finishing tying the apron the apron he had grabbed from a hook inside the kitchen door, he looked up with pleading eyes.

"Please don't tell Jin, he'd chop off my head."

"Don't tell me what?" a loud voice interrupted.

Jimin's heart began to race. He spun around to face Jin, who was suddenly standing in the doorway behind him. He stammered to come up with an excuse without having to tell Jin the truth.

"Tell you.. uhm.. uh- what I got you for your birthday! Yeah, I was telling Jisung not to tell you what I got."

Beside him, Jisung nodded vigorously.

Jin eyes him suspiciously before snorting.

"Alright. Now, get to work."

Jimin bowed slightly.

"Of course."

Turning back around, Jin walked into the kitchen.

Facing Jisung, Jimin breathed a sigh of relief.

Jisung smiled his adorable squirrel smile and said, "Good job."

"Thanks," Jimin smiled back, and turned to the door as he heard the little bell ring.

Let's do this, he thought, keeping his smile as the customer walked up to him. It's going to be a long day, he sighed inwardly.
