Jimin wrung his hands nervously as he walked towards the table Yoongi was sat at. He bit his lip harder, and slid into the seat opposite the other.
Focused as he was, Yoongi failed to notice the presence of the blonde until a small "hi" interrupted his thoughts. A smile graced his features as the shorter male looked up over his laptop. "Hi," Yoongi replied softly.
Blushing furiously, Jimin realized he hadn't thought of anything to say after his initial "hi". He stammered, unsure of what to do. "I- uh- well- you see- youseemlikeareallyinterestingpersonandIreallywanttobecomefriendswithyousoyeah-" The words left the blonde's mouth in a rush before he could stop himself. Horrified, Jimin clasped a hand over his mouth as his ever-present blush darkened. Great, I probably just made a fool of myself already, he thought to himself. We've hardly met and he probably thinks I'm weird or strange now.
Unbeknownst to Jimin, the opposite happened to be true. Yoongi found the small, cheerful, shy blonde to be rather cute, and was flattered to find that someone found him interesting enough to want to know him better. Sitting up in his seat, Yoongi gently closed the screen of his laptop and pushed it to the side. "Okay," he stated simply in response.
His eyes widening in surprise, Jimin looked up from where he had been hiding his blushing face. "...okay." Panic set upon Jimin as he frantically tried to think of something to continue the conversation now that the older male had agreed to becoming more than just mere acquaintances. "Uhm... well, I-" the blonde's voice was cut off, however, by the bell on the door as a multitude of people rushed in. Surprised, Jimin looked up to see that the snow had suddenly begun to fall in thick, heavy flurries, no doubt the reason for the sudden onslaught of activity within the small cafe. Disappointment darkening his features, Jimin pushed himself up out of his chair, turning around to face Yoongi. "I have to go help Jisung..." he murmured apologetically to the blue-haired boy.
Smiling softly, Yoongi nodded in understanding. "It's alright, don't apologize."
Regretfully, Jimin turned back and hurried to the busy counter, preparing himself to help an already flustered Jisung.

By the time service finally slowed enough that Jimin and Jisung could take a rest, Yoongi had gone. Sighing, the blonde walked over to the empty table with a wet rag. The table was clear besides a stray napkin sitting on the side. The rag made a squelching noise as it hit the surface of the table. The blonde pushed the cloth around the table, picking up the napkin as he neared that area of the table with the rag. Words scrawled on the small paper square caused Jimin to pause in his actions, and he raised the napkin for a clearer view. There, written in a loose, loopy script, was a message left behind by Yoongi.
We'll see each other soon again, barista boy. Don't worry~
- Yoongi
Even though the words could have many meanings, the most probable being that Yoongi meant they would see each other the next day when the older came for his daily caramel macchiato, Jimin couldn't help the excitement that filled his chest upon reading those words.
