She's a lady in waiting
Waiting for someone
High in a tower
She awaits
Many years have passed
Her heart still wishes
Another year goes by
And she finally sees
That the man she's waiting for
Is just like the others
He's fighting for the easy ones
Not working for the perfect one
He sees the wall she's built
Not bothering to climb up high
He walks away
Leaving her alone
Another year to wish
Another year to wait
