Chapter 2

RILEYS P.O.V.

After I was sucked into darkness it became light. I was floating, I saw the most beautiful cloud ever and directed my way towards it. Once I got to it I saw a women and a man I recognized them.

"Mom?" "D-Dad?" I said a little shaky

My mom smiled "Hello Riley, why are you here you should be down there?"

"I was hit by a car" I looked down realizing that earth was below

"Well that young man is about to save you, that is if you want him to." she looked like she wanted me to go

"I don't even know him." I stated

"Oh but you will he is very kind and I trust him with you." my Dad said so calmly that I thought this was a dream.

"So I guess this is goodbye?" I said wanting to cry but I couldn't.

"Until we see you again, we love you Riley Grace." They said in unison.

"I love you too."

Than I plummeted to the earth below and I could hear but I couldn't open my eyes.

CONNORS P.O.V.

After I scooped the little girl up I ran to the hospital it wasn't that far away and this is quicker. I bolted in slightly out of breath with her still in my arms.

"Help!" I yelled as loud as I could "Help! this little girl was hit by a car and she's unconscious."

A doctor pulled out a gurney and I walked along the side. "I'm afraid you will have to wait out here." the doctor told me. I nodded slowly and took a seat.

I pulled out my phone calling Ricky, I knew he would answer.

"Hey Connor where are you?" Ricky sounded a little nervous. "At the hospital, get here as soon as you can." I hung up because I was about to cry.

Why am I crying I don't even know her. I thought to myself with my head in between my hands still crying. Because you are a decent person and a little girl is near death. My mind told me, my heart sank and I cried some more.

After 20 minutes JC and Ricky walked in.

RICKYS P.O.V.

I didn't know why Connor chased that little girl but I knew he was upset. Me and JC went in the elevator and went to the level she was on.

"Do you think Connor knows her?" JC asked when we were about half way. " I don't know I guess we are gonna find out." I answered

The elevator dinged and we walked out we went to the waiting area and saw Connor bawling his eyes out.

"Hey Con Da Bon are you ok?" I said probably sounding a bit worried. He shook his head no and kept crying. I hated seeing him cry. "Did you know her?" JC asked I shot him a death stare cause he made it sound like she was already dead. Connor looked up at JC like he wanted to kill him.

"Did I know her, DID!" He was starting to raise his voice. "You are making it sound like she's already... already." Connor shook his head and went back to crying.

I pulled JC aside "Man he's really wrecked." I said looking into his eyes which were made of pure fear. "Y-Ya I know he normally doesn't go off like that." JC said a little shooken up I nodded and looked back at Connor who was still crying. "Just try to comfort him, don't say anything that can make him go off." We agreed and walked back.

CONNORS P.O.V.

I can't believe JC just said that but I'm more upset that I went off on him. I am still crying, I can't get over what could happen to her. I wonder where her parents are you would think they would notice that their child didn't return home at night. I sighed and fell asleep.

I woke up by someone poking me I opened my eyes and saw a doctor.

"Mr. Franta?" she said "Yes?" I could only think of one thing I tried not to cry and braced for the news. "She is doing much better, she is still not awake but there is a chance she will make it. You can go visit her." She said smiling. I shot up and ran into her room.

She looked so peaceful laying there as I sat down next to her, holding her hand.
