Chapter 9 Yep thats what I'm going with

ALEX'S P.O.V. oooooo new p.o.v.
After we got home from the fair Riley was already asleep so I said goodnight to Dad and Connor and zombie walked upstairs and sat on my bed. I was on my phone for about 30 minutes before I heard a noise. I walked out of my room and then I heard a thud coming from Riley's room.

I carefully opened Riley's door and looked in. There was glass on the floor and I didn't see Riley. I heard crying coming from the closet so I went over and opened the door and saw Riley sitting there crying with her frog in her arms.

"What happened Riles" I said sitting down in front of her.
She just shook her head and started crying.
"Do you want Connor?" I asked, he's probably the only one she'll listen to.

She nodded and I picked her up cause I didn't think she would want to get up but it was okay cause she's light.
I knocked on Connor's door and he opened it groggily but when he saw Riley his eyes shot open
"What happened are you okay baby girl?" Connor said taking her from my arms and cradling her like a baby.
She started crying and he looked at me with sad eyes. I figured he wanted to know what I knew so I told him.
"I heard a noise so I investigated and went to her room to find glass from the window and her in the closet crying with her frog."
"Okay well thanks go to JC's room and tell him and say that I told you to stay in there, I don't want anyone else getting hurt." he said.
"Okay." I walked away and went into Dads room.
I walked over to him and started poking him, he grunted and rolled over.
"Hey what's wrong sweetie."
I told him the story and then said "Can I stay with you Connor doesn't want anyone else getting hurt." I asked
"Sure come here." he patted the spot next to him.
I climbed in and he hugged me and I fell asleep.
CONNORS P.O.V
My baby girl, she's probably traumatized.
"Do you want to talk about it or tell me in the morning?" I asked in a calm voice
"I-I can tal-k" she stuttered
"Ok go ahead." I said picking her up and sitting down with her on my lap.
"I was sleeping and I heard the window shatter so I looked up and saw a person in all black crawling through. I pretended to sleep until they came towards me and tried to pick me up, I screamed and kicked but they wouldn't let go. They almost got me to the window until they heard Alex's door and let me fall, I crawled inside my closet and that where Alex found me." she said looking down.
"Did you see their face?" I asked
"No but they had short brown hair I think it was a boy." she said
"Ok sweetie well let's go to sleep you must be tired." I said, I feel so bad that I wasn't the one to go in her room, I should've been I'm her dad oh I forgot to tell her about our vacation, I'll tell her in the morning.
Riley nodded and we got under the covers, she put her head ontop of my chest and we both drifted off to sleep.

*in the morning*
RILEYS P.O.V.
I woke up and looked at the clock
8:07 man I slept in I usually wake up at like 6:00 I'm very different from this family when it comes to sleep.
I climbed out of Daddy's bed and silently walked downstairs. No one was awake yet so I went to the cabinet and got some cinnamon toast crunch. I poured myself a bowl and went to go put it back.
I turned around and went to where I set my cereal. It was gone.
"What the heck." I said to myself
I heard muffled chuckling and turned around to see Kian standing there eating MY CEREAL.
"MY CEREAL!" I screamed whispered so I wouldn't wake anyone up.
"Give it back." I said in a firm voice.
"Nuh uh." he said still chewing on my cereal.
I attacked him and reached for my cereal. I gave up and latched onto his leg and looked up at him with puppy dog eyes.
"Can I pwease have my ceweal." I said in a baby voice.
He groaned and handed it to me.
"HAHA SUCKER." I said laughing and run jumping onto the couch.
I turned on the TV and watched Hannah Montana reruns cause you know 1.Its awesome 2. WHY NOT.
Daddy came down at 10:00 and Ricky came down soon after.
"We should go prank JC and Alex." Kian said.
"I'll get the silly string!" Ricky announced
"I'll get the mayo." Daddy said.
I stared at all of them and started laughing its like they were a gang of prankers.
We walked upstairs and discussed the game plan in Daddy's bathroom.
"Ok I will smear this on JCs face and you two will spray Alex with the silly string, Riley will be in there so JC won't cuss. Okay?" Daddy said.
There were two ya's and me being me said Okay. Causing Daddy to smile.
We tip toed into the room and they got in their positions while I sat on the floor petting wishbone.
Kian counted with his fingers and then they started.
Alex shot up once she figured out what was going on.
"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!" She shouted causing JC to shoot up as well, he had mayo on his lips so when he tried to talk he tasted mayo.
"EWWWWWW WHAT THE HELL-O Riley." He screamed really loud until he noticed me giggling.
"Hi" I laughed and ran out of the room.
"RILEY CAN YOU COME HERE PLEASE." Daddy yelled from downstairs.
"Coming." I yelled back
I ran downstairs and walked over to Daddy.
"Ok so in 2 days me and you are gonna go to Minnesota to see your Gran and Gramps"(A/N that's what I call my grandparents)
"Yayyyyy." I screamed
"Ok one more thing."he sighed
"You are starting school as soon as we get back which is next week, Alex will be at the same school since it goes through High School ok?" He says
"Ughhhhhh okay." I knew there was no reason to negotiate since he would still make me.
"Great well I already bought you stuff, it's up in my closet if you wanna go get it." He smiled
"Okay!" I ran upstairs into his room and found a target bag and grabbed it.
He got me a black backpack with teal zippers and matching teal and black materials.
"THANKYOU." I screamed downstairs but he was right behind me.
"No problem baby girl." He hugged me.

(A/N I FINALLY UPDATED. I've been on and off working on this and I just finished it but next chapter will be when they go to Minnesota and who will Riley meet at school???
