Walking into a new school wasn't as easy as people cut it out to be. The twins were being forced to go to a charter school. Not only was that hard as it was, but they were being compelled to go because of the last fight the two had gotten into. They had trashed the house. It had looked like it had been through hell and back several times. There were scorch marks where Ashton had burned everything. The house was flooded after Jackson froze everything and Ashton had melted it all.

Their parents were beyond angry with the two and sent them off to a school to learn how to control themselves and so they could burn and freeze their dorms to their heart's content without having to punish the duo.

While staring at the large entryway with wide eyes, the two began to converse about what all had happened and what they were going to do. Ash had started the conversation with his older twin.

"Sending us here isn't going to change anything for us. They are wasting their money and MY time. I don't see what they are trying to get out of us making us go here." Ash began while playing with a small flame in the palm of his hand while his other hand laid in his lap.

"Don't be so upset about this," Jack began. "They did what they did and there is-" His brother had cut him off.

"I honestly don't care," Ash had replied as he glanced over at his twin while crushing the flame in his hand to put it out. "I'm younger than they are. Aren't I? Mum and Dad are just being immature about all of this. Why not do what they usually do when we get in an argument? Lock us in our room for a day and not feed us. That would be better than coming here." Ash crossed his arms over his chest as he was looking at his brother for confirmation of what he had said.

"Now, you are being way too overdramatic Ash." Jack sighed and continued, " They never put us in our room and didn't feed us. They just fixed the house and got on with life and their 'perfect' daughter." Jack had a disappointing look on his face as he and Ash closed their eyes.

"Sure as hell felt like it," Ash replied with a childish voice.

"It can't be that bad... Just think of it as a new beginning for the two of us. We will learn a lot from all of this. The only thing that can come out of this is good" Jack said with reassurance in his voice.

The two boys sighed and walked up the entry stairs to go and get a couple of lockers for themselves. The boys picked out two lockers that were located right next to each other that had not been taken yet. Lockers number 14 and 15. They then proceeded to put their own locks on them to officially state that these lockers were taken by them. Before Ash even had a chance to close his locker after opening it for the first time just to make sure the lock worked, he was rushed to the floor, face first, by a red-headed girl.

"Oh, shit! I am so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going!" the redheaded girl said laying on the floor across from Ash.

"Damn, you can sure as hell pack a punch," Ash said while rubbing his head that had slammed into the floor with Jack by his side, trying to help him up.

"I am so sorry." She then rushed her feet and tried to assist Jack with helping up his injured brother. "This isn't the first time that I have had a head-on collision with someone" Her and Jack then pried Ash off the floor while he was still rubbing his forehead.

"Yea, I could have guessed," Ash said with an irritated tone of voice as he got back into his meditated state.

Jack whacked the back of Ash's head as a warning, "Be nice!" He started before looking back to the girl. "Sorry about him. He tends to have an attitude sometimes."

Ash rubbed the back of his head with annoyance. "Damn, it's not like I did anything to you!"

The girl then stared at the two and chuckled with relief, "Still, I should have been paying attention to where I was walking. There is this big test that I have later and I didn't study at all last night."

"Oh no, it's perfectly fine," Jack smiled to her.

"Says the guy that didn't get pushed to the ground" Ash mumbled to himself with his arm crossed.

Jack sighed with slight annoyance, "Anyways, I am Jack and this is Ash" He gestures to his brother. "What's your name?" He asked the girl while sticking out his hand to be shaken.

"Oh! Where in the world are my manners today? I'm Andy." She said as she stuck her hand out to accept Jack's kind gesture.

"It's nice to meet you" The boys replied in unison. Ash sounding more annoyed by every second he was still around the girl.

The girl seemed nice to Jack, but oh how his views would change. Jack could see himself becoming friends with Andy as the three started walking and floating to their dorms together to get ready for the day ahead of them. Jack was in the middle of the trio walking, and  Ash made sure of that. He wanted nothing to do with someone who put a bruise on his forehead the first day of their new life.

Seeing as Jack noticed that Andy did not have any wings, he thought it would be nice of them to walk their new, potential friend to her dorm. After talking for a while the three parted ways as Andy had gotten to her dorm and the boys still had quite a few steps to float up. Once the boys found their dorm and opened it for the first time, they claimed their bedrooms and got settled in, Ash still holding on to the fact that he had to be the one to get pushed and not Jack.

The boys began to decorate their separate rooms to their fitting. Jack having a pale blue mattress with a dark black comforter, and his pillows being each different shades of blue. He carefully set up his bookcase and draped light blue drapes around his bed before going to check in on his other half. Walking into the room across from his, Jack noticed how different the two really were. Ash had already set up his bed with a black mattress followed by a red comforter, decorated with orange and yellow pillows. Off to the left of the bed was a red piano to match the rest of the room with some grey drapes above the bed to go along with his color scheme.

"It's official. There's no turning back now" Jack said leaning on the frame of the door.

"Guess not. Oh well. Say, what do you think about that girl that bumped into me? I already forgot her name, but lord knows you were acting strangely." Ash said with a smug look on his face.

"Andy? Ash, her name is Andy. She apologized so you should be nice to her or at least give her a chance," Jack started his response to his brother. "I mean, she seems nice and sweet. At least she apologized to you and didn't just run off."

"Her chance was over once she slammed my ass into the ground," Ash said as if he had no interest in the topic anymore.

"And she apologized!" Jack retorted back to Ash trying to give the poor girl at least one chance instead of just blowing her off because of one minor incident.

"Ugh, you know, you really make my blood boil sometimes," Ash said with one eyebrow raised.

"Isn't your blood always boiling?" Jack replied with a smirk playing on his lips.

"Listen, I don't have to listen to your sly remarks and quirky smiles. You're not any better than me cause you found it in your overbearing heart to forgive someone." Ash said with arms crossed sitting on the edge if his bed.

"Yeah, but who else is gonna laugh with you if you don't give anyone a chance to become friends with you? Just me." Jack plopped down on the ground, making himself comfortable on the shag carpet which was obviously just recently cleaned.

"You think you're so funny with that stupid look on your face, don't ya?" says Ash.

"But, I am funny. You've just been around me too long now" Jack smiled as he replied, believing that he was correct in his opinion.

"Trust me, if I could permanently separate myself for the likes of you, I wouldn't hesitate," Ash said with an evil grin.

"I see that grin. You know you love me. Where would you be without me, huh?" Jack replied slyly.

"Statistically speaking, I'd be dead," says Ash.

Jack nodded his head as the bells went off to go meet downstairs for breakfast. Jack jumped up from the ground at the mere thought of food.

As soon as they exited their dorm, they were greeted by, none other than, Andy. Jack smiled shyly at her as she greeted them, "Let's go get some food and get this whole school thing on!"

Ash replied with a grown and reluctantly tagged along behind the two of them.
