"WHAT THE HELL?!" Ash would stop chasing after Jack and shout at him. "I WAS MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS, WALKING TO MY CLASS AND, THERE YOU ARE. MR. HIGH-AND-MIGHTY WITH YOUR "ASHTON! SAVE MY ASS" AGAIN!" Ash was pissed.
"Look I'm sorry! You already said that you forgave me and there are no take-backsies so..." Jack covered his face.
Ash would sigh and rub his temples. "Fine, I mean we already have to serve detention for whats-her-face so might as well accept it and get it done" Ash stopped floating and sat on the floor.
"Good! I'm glad you are looking at the 'good' side of things" Jack plopped down right next to Ash.
"Mhm, mhm, right" Ash looked up at the ceiling. "So, where were you during 4th period?"
"Oh, I decided to go the dorm and start on the homework we had already gotten. I was mad and didn't want to deal with you..." Jack would chuckle.
Ash would chuckle back. "The feeling was mutual"
"I also met someone..." Jack would carry in the conversation.
"Oh, did she swoon over you?" When saying 'swoon', Ash placed the back of his hand on his forehead and pretended to faint.
Jack would give a slight laugh. "No Ash, she wasn't 'swooning' over me" Jack copied Ash's motion. "She was really cool and I actually think that you would like her. She's a Fire Fairy"
"Is she now? And what exactly makes you think that I would like her just because of that?" Ash was now interested in hearing what Jack had to say about the girl.
"Well, she seemed really nice and sweet. She was respectful, which I know how much that means to you, and she wasn't that bad looking either. She told me about her parents a bit. She was the cause of their death, BUT she didn't seem so hung up about it anymore. All in all, I think that she was a pretty decent person" Jack seemed pretty please in what he just said.
"I don't know Jackson... Talking to people is hard and I don't feel like getting into a relationship on the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!" Ash was getting mad for no known reason.
"Okay okay, damn. I didn't mean right now of course. I am the one that said you can't fall for someone within the span of 24 hours. I'm just saying, talk to her. She seems chill." Jack had a kind smile on his face.
"Okay. I'll talk to her and BEFRIEND her. Nothing more" Ash was stern in what he was saying.
Two class periods later, about two and a half hours later, the principal came into the detention chamber. When she walked into the room, the boys had the heels of their feet on one of the walls whiling laying on the floor. While wiggling their feet back and forth, Mrs. Komenco spoke, "Boys..." The boys scrambled to their feet.
"Y-yes ma'am?" Jack said trembling.
"I hope that you have learned from this experience and I KNOW that I will NOT have to punish you two again" She would wave her wand in the air and an army of little goblins popped up in front of her.
The boys gulped and replied in unison. "Yes, ma'am!"
The boys walked out of Mrs. Komenco's office feeling a little bit better, knowing that they were being given a chance to "fix their ways" reassured them that the time that they were going to spend here, wasn't going to be so bad. Yea, this was their first day, a long day, and they got off on the wrong foot. People obsessing over them, others cheering them on as they tried to fight, and the one person they met that they think could potentially become a long-term friend. Things weren't going to be so bad there.
The boys went to their dorm to try and forget about what happened and just get some homework done.
"Do you think that we made a bad first impression?" Jack asked with his eyes open while sitting on Ashton's bed.
"No, I think that YOU made a bad first impression," Ash said confidently, sitting at his desk and typing away on his laptop.
"That doesn't help me..." Said Jack.
"Yea, well, do you want me to lie to you or do you actually want me to tell you what I'm thinking?" Ash said turning around in his spinny chair and crossing his arms.
"Can you tell me a lie?..." Jack said sheepishly.
"I think that you made a great first impression and I think that no one, including myself, thinks that you are insecure and not sure as to what you want for yourself and others! You showed just how responsible you are, which is very, and gave a great example on how to be an outstanding angel..." Ash turned around in his chair and continued the homework he was doing. "And, I think that you're a horrible twin..."
Jack stayed silent for a little before speaking. "Thank you, Ashton"
"Yup... now, do me a favor and get out of my room. I got stuff to do" Ash was focused in on his work.
"Yea, ok, I'm going" Jack got off Ash's bed and floated over to this room. Before going all the way into his room, Jack turned around and stuck his head into Ash's room once more. "Oh, and, Ash?..."
Ash let out a deep sigh. "What Jackson?"
"You're a horrible twin too..." Jack smiled.
Ash turned around in his spinny chair once more. "Thanks" Ash let out a slight chuckle with a small smile. Ashton never smiles.
Jack stopped floating and walked back to his room while Ash turned back around in his chair and continued with his work.
