It was just a normal day in Los Angeles, or at least that's what everybody thought. Kensi, Deeks, Callen and Sam were sitting in their respective chairs at work, talking about Callen's absurd idea of getting a tattoo.

- We've been over this, Callen! No, you wouldn't look good with a tattoo! - Said Sam, laughing out loud.

- All of you have tattoos, why shouldn't I get one? - Asked the team leader, looking for badass tattoos in his laptop.

- Hey, I made my tattoo when I was undercover! - Said Kensi with a disapproving look. Deeks was about to tell how he got his tattoo when Eric interrupted him with his usual whistle.

- Hetty wants you up in Ops. - Said the blonde man with a wide smile. So they all went to Ops, where they found Hetty standing right next to Nell, who was holding her big Windows tablet who had all the informations about the case. The victim was a former Navy Seal who was shot to death.

- Kensi and Deeks, go to the victim's house, so you can find out some evidences. Me and Sam will go to the crime scene, so we find out exactly what happened. - Said Callen, pointing to Kensi and Deeks. So the blonde guy and the brunette drove to the victim's house, who was more like a mansion, while they were talking about radio station's. When they got there, they knocked twice on the door.

- Federal agents, open the door! - Shouted Kensi. Since nobody answered her, she opened the door on her own, with Deeks covering her. They entered the big house and all they could do was stare at the imensity of expensive things.

- How could a Navy Seal afford for so many expensive things?! This is ridiculous! - Exclamated Deeks, while holding a golden iPhone 5s.

- Maybe he wasn't JUST a Navy Seal, because this doesn't feel right to me. - Said a suspicious Kensi, while putting on her black gloves so she wouldn't leave fingerprints anywhere. Suddenly, they heard a noise. It sounded like someone walking around the house, impatient. They immediatly looked at each other and came up with a plan: Deeks would look for the person and Kensi would have his back. They always have each other's back, no matter what, 'cause that's what partners do. They weren't JUST partners, but oh well, one day they'd figure it out. They always did. So Deeks started running with his gun on his hand and suddenly a guy showed up right in front of him. He started shooting into the direction of Kensi and Deeks, who started running away from the gunshots, but it was already too late. A shot ran through Kensi's back. She immediatly fell on the ground and started bleeding in a big quantity. The criminal guy ran away in that moment and Deeks put on his knees right next to Kensi, holding her hand and taking a towel to stop the bleeding. She just couldn't stop bleeding and he already had tears on his eyes, as he tried to reach the phone to call 911.

- An ambulance is on its way, you're gonna be fine Kens, I'll never leave your side. - Said a crying Deeks.

- Deeks... - Mumbled Kensi.- I don't have a good feeling about this. I think this is the end of me...

- NO! You are not dying, Kens! The ambulance is almost here and you're gonna make it, okay?! - Said Deeks , trying to convince her and himself that the person he loved and cared about the most on this planet, the love of his life, would make it.

- No... I don't think so... But before I die, there's something you need to know... I'm pretty sure you already know this because I already showed it to you in every way I could, but I never actually told you this, Deeks... I love you, more than anything in this world. And if I die today, I just want you to know I'll die happy because I die next to you, next to the love of my life... - Whispered Kensi with a really weak voice and tears in her eyes, almost closing them.

- I love you too, Kensi. Forever.
