First Dates

I woke up,feeling weight on my chest,I opened my eyes to see what weight that was. And of course, it was Jake. He had his head on my chest and his hands tight around my waist,I tried to push him over but it was no use trying,and I had no choice but to wait until he wakes up.

While I was waiting,memories about yesterday were rushing into my brain,seriously,I can't be left alone with my brain. I can't believe that what happened had actually happened in one night;first Ivy and second me kissing Jake.

If I was Ivy,I don't know what I would have done,she's really strong for holding up the way she did. I admire her for that.

And Jake.. Well,I don't know. At first,I was thinking that we should just be friends,then it all started to fall apart. But to be honest,I'd like him more as my boyfriend. We'd have to talk about that.

"Hey,you." Jake said,releasing me from his tight grip,then putting a hand on my cheek.

"Hey."

"Slept well?" He smiled a crooked smile that I like.

"Mhm." Please don't talk about it,please don't talk about it.

"So did you think about yesterday?" He looked down,then back at me. Wow,he always does the opposite of what I'm secretly asking for.

"Um,actually,yeah,I have."

"I have a bad feeling about this."

"No,don't. It's in a good way."

"Oh,good,so tell me." I don't really know how to say it,yeah I like you,although I only thought of you as a friend? Who would say that? I need some time to process my thoughts.

"Okay,but can I just go to the bathroom and change?"

"Okay,I'll go to the other bathroom too." And he gave me a quick kiss when I was getting myself out of the sheets,and that boosted me to change as fast as I can,what can I say,his kiss is irresistible.

Ten minutes later,I was out of the bathroom,dressed in short jeans shorts and a dark blue T-shirt,and had my hair up in a messy bun,I found Jake waiting for me,already dressed up in a white V-neck T-shirt and black shorts. How could he manage to dress up in less than ten minutes?

"All done?" He asked,standing up.

"Yeah."

"Good,let's go then."

On our way out,we found Ivy and Jimmy sleeping on the floor. They looked so peaceful when they were together,I really hope they make it.

Jake got us a spot under a large tree not so far from our rooms,and of course he was eager to talk,he wanted to get it all out as much as I did,so let's get this over with.

"Jake,we've known each other for almost a week,right?"

"Yeah..?" He made it sound more of a question.

"Despite that,I just feel like I've known you for so long,and I act like myself around you.." His expression softened,he was relieved. "But still,we have to get to know each other better."

"Yeah,of course,I was going to say that too."

"I wan to be able to trust you even more,not that I don't." I sighed. "It's just that it's kind of hard for me to do this again,I just want to make sure that I don't get hurt again. I can't-" I trailed off and started tearing up.

"Hey,I know what he did,and I will never do that to you,ever. Believe me,he doesn't know what he had," I looked up into his eyes,and he was sincere about what he said. "Actually,I have to thank him,because now I get to be with you because of him." I smiled at him shyly and he grinned,getting closer to me to put his lips against mine.
