Ivory Quartz

I just checked in Miami Hilton with my mom and brother. It actually looks nice,the hotel staff seems friendly. Someone took our bags and lead us to our room. The room is great,and kinda fancy. I walked around a little in it,and then I went to open the balcony,and the view was fascinating. You can the beach and a swimming pool from here. So I unpacked and went for a walk.

The walk was refreshing,because it was a long,long,long ride, and I've been sitting for a lot of time. I didn't count,though,because I knew if I did,I'd faint from the amount of hours counted. It was almost sunset,though. The view was awesome. Because I was walking next to the pool,I could see the beach from there,it was just beautiful. It was the beauty of the sunset,the sea,the colors,and just everything.

You can see the stars actually showing-as in most Miami-,I don't go to Miami a lot,but when I do,I just love to stay in the sunset on the first day. "It's nice,right?" A girl next to me said. She was pretty,she had long black hair with pink highlights in it,she had blue eyes,and she wasn't too tall nor too short. "Yeah,it is.". I said.

"I'm Ivory Quartz by the way." She said,smiling. "Oh,nice to meet you," I said,"I'm Natalie Stewart.". "So you just got here in Miami?". She asked. "Yeah,I did". "Is it your first time?". "No,I've actually been here a lot. Well,not a lot,just three or four times," "My cousin lives here in Florida,and he takes us to trips sometimes". "Oh." Ivory murmured. "Sometimes he would be annoying,so we don't like to go a lot. But it's my first time in Hilton.". "Yeah,it's my first time too. Well, it's my first time in Miami,actually," She said,"It's amazing,though. I mean,the sunset just fascinates me,I love nature," Ivory told me,"I think it's awesome and because we are... Never mind.". "No,I'm interested," I told her,"I like nature too.". "Cool,no one actually of my best friends understands me,Becca for once,hates nature,because to her,it means bugs and rats and all that stuff," "It's complicated,though, she has a bad history with ants and animals,so she doesn't really like nature," She smirked,"I have three best friends;Becca Black,Vanessa Richards and Lara Croft-and yeah Lara Croft is a weird,weird name,because she isn't the actual 'Lara Croft' in the movie,and she gets teased a lot for that-" Ivory giggled "It's funny,I really miss them,but sometimes I just wish I never met them,because if I didn't,life would have been so much easier. I mean,if you were in my shoes...Ugh," she rolled her eyes,"Anyways,tell me about yourself. What should I tell her? That I'm a nobody who has a boring life? "I live in Redmond,Washington, in neighbourhood 10.". "Oh my god,I live in the same neighbourhood! I must have seen you," She said,"Well,technically,I think I've seen you before. But then again,I just moved in Redmond,because Lara moved in there last summer and we hadn't talked a lot then. And actually,all of my best friends live in Redmond,but Lara is the only one who lives in the same neighbourhood that we live in," "I'm sorry,I'll let you continue." Ivory said. "Well,I came with my mom Katie and my brother Daren," "I don't have many best friends,just four;Lucy Brown,Bella Hoffman,Rebecca Smith and Abby Collins-",I got interrupted by my phone ringing. It was mom, of course she wanted me back in the room. "Sorry,gotta go,I'll see you in a while?" I asked. "Yeah,sure." Ivory said. We said goodbye and I went to my room again.

A new friend on the first day. Maybe this week won't be so bad after all.
