Chapter 4 ~Her~

Hey guys I promise quite a big plot twist in this one and in a couple of chapters ill give a quick backstory on one of my characters.

I went to bed the night of the campfire and my mind was racing. I had been the one to scout out demigods for Chiron, and I had gotten Artemis's approval for it too. I was allowed all of summer and spring to search for demigods, but when the autumn equinox hit, I was to be back with the hunters, leading the pack once again. I had to hold up my vow, of course, where I'm not allowed to fall for boys. It wasn't that tricky, but some of the Canadian boys are cute!

I looked over at my clock. It read 10:52 and I had a slight moment of terror when I realized that Matt was sleeping on a bunk across from me. Remembering he was now a son of Zeus and my half brother, I eased myself back to sleep. The only other person in the Cabin was Jason, and I was glad he was there. I had missed him a lot.

I remember the day I had first been assigned to the high school where I met Grayson. I knew he was a Demigod and by some miracle he knew I was. He told me that there were four others that were like us and I got home and iris-messaged Chiron. I was told to come back to camp so I obeyed. Last night I had gotten back and realized I had to let blackjack and the rest of the Pegasi out of the stables so they could go get the demigods. I got back late for the meeting this morning and when Chiron announced the news, I'm glad that no one looked at me. I tried to make it seem like I was as surprised as possible.

When we went to go see them, oh my god I don't know what happened. I looked at Ariadne and it was like it was no one else in the world. I felt a way I've never felt before.

As I drifted into a peaceful sleep, all I could see was a glowing, magic string.
