Hey Guys! I had a lot of trouble deciding who was narrating this chapter, but I finally settled on someone. I hope you enjoy this chapter!!

Annabeth

The counsellors and the new campers gathered around the ping pong table in the big house. We for usually let other people sit it but it was ironic that the prophecy had been delivered the day they got here. Plus, Chiron had exchanged a few words with Ariadne that was starting to make me suspicious. A couple of days ago was not the first time they had met. I was sure of it. They kept glancing at each other as if communicating through looks. Almost like me and Chiron do.

"So, should we get started?" I asked, trying to distract myself from the weird behaviour. "Now lets look at this prophecy."

"Two teams must assemble

Most of the Olympic gods you resemble," Grayson said.

"Two teams, as in two teams of half bloods," Chiron chided, "Resemble usually speaks of looking alike, but in this case, I believe it means the parent of the demigod. Can we all agree on that?"

Everyone nodded. Grayson continued reciting:

One of the first walks alone

A demigod daughter, older than Rome.

We all looked at Chiron, but it was Nico that spoke up.

"One of the first has to be one of the first team," he suggested, "and older than Rome must mean that this girl is immortal."

I started wondering. Who could that be? I mean an immortal demigod girl. I could think of a few heroes, but they were all men. I couldn't think of one female immortal half blood, which frustrated me, because I was usually good at these things.

Grayson continued.

"Hell hath no fury on a secret kept

Thy mother thy once thought had slept"

That one was obvious. Someone has a secret, and someone thought there mother was dead. It seemed slightly random, but I've learned to just go with it.

"Next lines please," I asked.

"Upon a last breath she shall don

The legs of a satyr, or more a faun"

"So..." Percy suggested, "the mother is going to die with goat legs?"

I tried to hold back a laugh. It was hard not to at the ridiculousness of the thought, but we were all thinking it.

Grayson finished the prophecy:

"One shall give in to his final breath

And shall seek a new friend, his death."

"That pretty obvious," I said. "Somebody is going to die on this quest."

"A quest for what?" Frank asked. He had joined Clarisse as co- counsellors for the Ares cabin.

"A quest for the gods," Chiron answered. " I haven't been entirely honest with you. A few nights before the new campers showed up, I received word from Lord Hermes, who said that there was a very important task at hand. He said that each of the twelve gods had had something stolen from them by the titans and the titans hid them all over the world. It wasn't just in America. He had hinted that new campers were going to be of great use to me, and that there was a few hints about the whereabouts of the items. He said the quest would require a great group of demigods, and even hinted that the Hunters would be helping us out with this one. He also told me that many of you would be fighting old enemies again, so you will have to be ready."

"Wait Chiron," I butted in, "we don't even know who to take with us in this quest."

"Very true Annabeth. I shall make up the two teams. One shall stay at Camp Half-Blood as our base of operations team. The other will go forth and find the sacred items. Team one will go, team two will stay. Now, lets choose who gets to go..."
