today is a special day.
today marks one year since i met park jimin, the boy who changed my life. he has made my life so much better than i could ever imagine it being. and i couldn't be more grateful.

he has told me to go the the park, the park where he gave me the gorgeous necklace that i still wear everyday now, the park where i had my first kiss, the park where i got my first boyfriend.
i'm stood here now, in silence. he told me to wait in view of the white gazebo in the middle of the park. i look up and watch the night sky, and a shooting star zooms across my vision.
i wish to be this happy forever, i think whilst closing my eyes. when i open them again, i see that the gazebo has been lit up with fairy lights which are casting shadows onto jimin. he's sat on a stool in the middle, holding a guitar.
i walk closer to him and stop in front of the steps up to him, gazing up at him.
he looks down at me before clearing his throat. but after that, he lightly strums the guitar and starts to sing.
the still world around us seems to disappear. in this moment it's just me and jimin, his angelic voice filling my ears. i could listen to his voice forever, its calming tones eternally serenading my thoughts.

"All this is no coincidence
Just, just, by my feeling
The whole world is different from yesterday

a smile grows on my face, my cheeks heating up at the same time.

"When you called me
I became your flower
As if we were waiting
We bloom until we ache"

he smiles back at me, looking down shyly for a second.

"Maybe it's the providence of the universe
It just had to be that

my heart has never felt more complete.

"As much as my heart flutters, I'm worried

jimin gets up and starts walking down to me slowly, the guitar still in his hands, a strap holding it around his neck.

"The universe has moved for us
Without missing a single thing
Our happiness was meant to be

i look down to hide the happy tears in my eyes.

"You're my penicillium, saving me, saving me

i look up again and see jimin stood in front of me. i listen to the rest, gazing at him with pure adoration, tears spilling onto my cheeks.
he finishes off the song, now standing centimetres away from me, smiling. his eyes twinkle lightly in the moonlight. he takes off the guitar and lays it gently on the path beside us before gently wiping the tears of my face with his thumb.
"y/n, thank you. thank you for lighting up my life this past year. when i first joined your school, you made me feel so comfortable and welcome. you still do now to this day. you make me happy, you make me laugh, you make me want to give you the entire world. i hope that one day i will be able to return everything you've given me, which would be a lot."
he steps closer.
"i love you." he whispers, looking into my eyes.
"i love you too, jimin." i whisper back, tears of joy adorning my cheeks again. i lean forward and kiss him as he pulls my waist gently towards him, my hands cupping his face. a smile forms on both of our faces.
we separate and lean our foreheads against each other's, happiness lighting up his eyes.
i suddenly hear a bang and look up.
fireworks of all colours shoot up into the sky, illuminating my surroundings.
i look back down and see the last thing to be completed in colour, smiling lovingly at me.
