Latrice's Story

chapter 15

A few hours pass, Latrice can't sleep. She get up, walks into the kitchen, gets something to drink, then goes back in to the room. She sits on the side of the bed for a while, then lies back down but still cannot sleep. Latrice gets up, picks up her journal, walks in the front room, turns on the light and begins to look through her journal. Latrice has kept a journal from the time she arrived at the first group home. As she reads, her mind flashed back to the night one of the group home supervisors took all the girls to that huge house owned by famous singer. Latrice, was so innocent then, and never went inside the house. Now looking back she could imagine what went on in that house. She remembers how the supervisor went in first, stayed for a while and then came back and got the other girls. Latrice is thinking about her relationship with the pastor and thinking that the megastar that lived in that house was using the teenage girls from the group home as his sex toys. Now with the innocence completely gone, Latrice thinks about what is would have been like if she had gone into that house. "I would have been the one he would have really wanted." Latrice is imagining. "I would have walked in with my sexy ass walk, the walk the pastor loves, and I would have been irresistible. I would have walked over to that megastar, took off his clothes and started to kiss, lick and taste him from head to toe. The other girls would have been so jealous of me, he would have really wanted me then... he wouldn't have given the others another thought. I would have had him hard as a rock. I would have had him begging to get between these thighs. That megastar would only want me after that. He would have wanted me to live in that house with him; he would be letting me drive his cars... I would have made those other girls so jealous after they would have watched me make him cum." Latrice's mind is so mixed up; she sees her total value wrapped up in her sexuality. "Latrice, what are you doing" Nelson's mother asked. "I couldn't sleep" Latrice said. Latrice gets up and goes to the bathroom, a little startled after Nelson's mother shocked her out of her sexual daydreaming. Nelson's mother sees Latrice journal sitting on the couch and immediately pick it up and start to go through it. Erratically and frantically trying to find something that she can use against Latrice. She sees the word abortion in one of the entries and tries to read to see what she could discover. Nelson's mother hears Latrice flush the toilet so she hurries to put the journal back where she found it and moved to the other side of the room. When Latrice came out of the bathroom she went into the bedroom. Nelson's mother, fully expecting Latrice to come back for the journal, waits awhile. Thinking Latrice has gone back to bed, she picks up the journal and carefully starts to read........to be continued
