3rd Person POV

"Stop!" Odin demands, catching Loki by surprise. His hands were as blue as a bluebell. His face was sweaty, he wanted to find out who he truly was.

"Am I cursed...?" Loki asks, keeping in the same position, not wanting to look at his father.

"No." Odin says blatantly. Loki places down the casket on the stand carefully.

"What am I?" Loki growls, looking down slightly. "You're my son" Odin says gently, trying not to anger Loki.

Loki turns around slowly to look at Odin, showing his Jotun form. His true self.

His skin was as blue as the ocean, his eyes as red as blood, as well as markings across his face.

"What more than that?" Loki says lowly as his Jotun form fades away.

"The casket wasn't the only thing you took from Jotunheim that day, was it?" Loki asks quietly, walking towards Odin who was on the stairs.

"No." Odin simply says.

"In the aftermath of the battle, I went into the Temple, and I found a baby." Odin explains to Loki, who watches in curiosity and shock.

"Small for a giant's offspring, abandoned, suffering, left to die" Odin adds on.

"Laufey's son."

"Laufey's son..." Loki says, looking off into a corner of the room, merely physically separated from the conversation.

Loki turns to Odin, "Yes.." Odin says, looking down at his son.

Loki begins to breathe heavily in shock and disbelief.

"Why? You were knee-deep in Jotun blood. Why would you take me?" Loki asks, his voice raising.

"You were an Innocent child." Odin says with a calm expression.

"No. You took me for a purpose, what was it?" Loki asks, breathing heavily, expecting an answer from Odin.

Odin just simply stared, not knowing what to say.

"TELL ME!!" Loki screams, wanting to know exactly why he was taken from Jotunheim.

"I thought we could unite our kingdoms one day, bring about an alliance, bring about a permanent peace, through you"  Odin explains to Loki.

"What...?" Loki squeaks out, the initial shock of it all upsetting him.

"But those plans no longer matter..." Odin says quietly, sighing.

Loki, in this moment, has tears streaming down his face. He always knew he was different. The outcast. He was disowned for being too mischievous for his adoptive father.
