UN POCO LOCO !

gwen.

"Shut the fuck up," i whispered ever so quietly, just so nobody could hear. johnny orlando was going on and on again about how the right lung is bigger than the left.

"it's like that because your heart sits there, and your body needs room to fit your left lung and your heart in there," he finished, sitting down proudly on his stool. we all let out a sigh of relief after he was finally done.

"okay, john. that was a very nice explanation, but we need to complete our worksheets," mrs howe said calmly. even the teachers knew how annoying he got.

"right. sorry," he replied, unphased. most kids would be embarrassed, uncomfortable, and awkward, if they rambled on in front of their class like that. johnny orlando? he was proud. to him, everyone 'enjoyed' his rants.

the bell for teacher advisory, everyone's last class of the day, rang. the whole class sighed, considering we now had homework over the weekend due to johnny's long talk about lungs.

"bye!" students waved to mrs howe, cluttering by the door like a herd of sheep.

"gwendo!" my best friend, alex, yelled from across the hallway. him and the rest of the 'popular' kids called me that, they all had a dumb thing for making up pointless nicknames.

"hey, al!" i waved, catching up to him when he stopped for me next to the bubbler. many of our friends began to migrate towards us. it's where we all met before t/a, because we had seven extra minutes before we had to get there.

one of the girls from my science class, annie, began to complain about how annoying johnny was. "i have nearly every class with him, all he ever does lecture, lecture, lecture. talk, talk, talk. 'actually this', 'actually that'."

lauren orlando, one of the many popular girls, shifted uncomfortably. her and john were twins, and no one understood how they were related. lauren; a sweet, kindhearted, gentle girl. and johnny; a loud, obnoxious, messy boy. not afraid to speak his opinion. lauren realized everyone's hatred towards her brother, but she never joined in on the trash talk towards him. although, she never stopped her friends.

"i know, right! lungs? are you kidding me? we don't want to learn, we just have to. so shut up and let us finish our worksheets in class please," i rolled my eyes and huffed, causing a strand of hair to fly to the top of my head.

"big al," one of the guys said, "how many minutes left?"

"two- gwen, we should probably head to teacher advisory," he shrugged, and i nodded. together, we sauntered through the twisty hallways. when we got to the classroom, mr van amber opened the door for us, and we sat at our usual table. me, alex, vienna, keaton, and an open seat.

us four were fifteen minutes deep in a vicious game of tic-tac toe, when a fully recognizable voice boomed through out the whole classroom. "mr v! hey!" it was johnny.

students outside of his homeroom rarely came into mr van amber's room during teacher advisory, because it was an art room and everyone finished their tests during class, not after. especially not the smart kids, like john. "please let him be asking for extra credit," vienna hopes from my left side. "just pray. where's a shooting star when you need one?" alex added.

"kids, i'm sure you all know johnny orlando," our teacher stood beside johnny, "he was having difficulties in his last advisory, so he'll be joining ours."

vienna, keaton, alex, and i shared a terrified look, as the only open spot was the one at our table.
