this chapter is gonna be split up into 3 important parts because i'm lazy lol.

"Hey lauren, johnny! glad you two could make it," annie leblanc greeted the two siblings in front of me, i assumed she just didn't see me behind them.

"wow annie! you really went all out, it looks amazing," i peered into the many little nooks of her home, each one of them decorated with a different item.

she looked from me to the orlando's, "oh, you brought a friend."

lauren furrowed her eyebrows, and my face turned red. out of all the popular girls, i didn't think annie would turn on me like vienna did. "i thought you invited the whole grade," she said, confused, "she's not just our tag-along, she had an invite."

"i only invited the ones i respect. but of course, she's your guest, so she can stay," with an over dramatic hair flip, she was out of sight.

"bitch," johnny mumbled.

"don't worry about it guys," i shrugged. normal-gwen would get overthink it all and get worked up, walk out, and probably start crying. no way was i ruining tonight for my friends and i, so i kept it together. "let's go find keaton and alex."

"is that alex in the blaze orange?" lauren pointed across the crowd, we all laughed.

"there's alex for you. fifty dollars he wore it so we don't lose him tonight," i smiled, shaking my head. a weirdo, a softie, but the best friend ever.

spin the bottle !

"Ready for it to get a little wild?" annie walked in the room with an empty root beer bottle.

"root beer, annie? that's all you got?" a dude snickered.

"hush, strict parents. were playing spin the bottle!" she shook the bottle above her head, setting it in the middle of the gigantic circle that had now took over the den in her basement.

"cooper, you go first since you're judging my bottle," the glass was rolled into the middle, and some cooper kid scooted his way next to it. the circle consisted of at least thirty kids, because most were still upstairs in the pool or something.

"oh, fuck," he rolled his eyes as the bottle landed on someone who i recognized as his ex girlfriend. from my view, they leaned in and kissed, that's all there was to it. nothing special, short and sweet.

"i guess lets just go in order of the circle. i guess that means lauren, you're up."

she hesitated, "i'm good. let's just skip to johnny."

"okay," vienna smirked, talking as if she was the host of this party, "johnny. you go."

he walked on his knees crazily to the bottle, which made everyone give their friend 'the look'. i mentally face palmed, he made a fool out of himself already.

he spun it. "it landed on me," he frowned, "can i get a redo?"

"no! that'll take too much time," vienna rolled her eyes.
