The soldiers stationed near the site of the attacks from earlier were ready for another attack to be brought on by the beasts. Hux still stood where he was, anticipating what was to come. Arturius could come out at any moment to anger the Imperial troops by speaking lowly of their nation; beasts could appear at any second to try and decimate the Imperial forces standing guard at the site of the attack...
"Prepare yourselves... this won't be easy," Hux spoke to his men as he looked among the trees of the forests and the site of the attack from his jeep, accompanied by the Haruko clone from earlier. The Imperials stood silently, waiting for the attack to commence... Hux was still waiting, as everyone seemed to be on edge at the moment. The soldiers already readied their arms, and were waiting for an enemy to pop out and find itself dead within moments. "Stay focused, men... I feel we won't have much time unt-"
A roar was let out in the night air... times four.
Suddenly, four beasts appeared out of thin air where the first attack took place, letting out an otherworldly roar and attacking Imperial soldiers at a quick pace. To counter this, specialists were sent out to inflict some major wounds on the beasts - these specialists could stop time around them through the use of Imperial technology and deal some damage against the beasts. A few drones were seen flying around near one of the beasts, capturing energy signatures coming off of their bodies - some of the beasts tried swinging at them, but to no avail.
From the darkness of the forests, Arturius would appear among the beasts and energy weapon fire, saying something to try and demoralize the Imperial troops: "So you're still making futile attempts to 'kill' these beasts? They'll still be alive, even when you think you've shot 'em dead. Your beloved Graceland will cease to exist at my mighty hand... your nation will be brought to its knees by the power of the great eidolon!"
As Arturius said that, one drone made it to Captain Hux with an eidolon's energy signature. The energy signature allowed him and nearby research teams to reach the main location responsible for dispatching the eidolons to Graceland. With these coordinates, Imperial ships could hit the eidolon raids at the source and wipe them from the face of the multiverse. "Easy coordinates... drone, upload them to the ISV Aeon. I'm looking to execute a plan that'll be crazy enough to work," Hux commanded to the drone as he thought of an idea to defeat Arturius and wipe out the rest of the eidolons from the face of the American realm.
Arturius seemed to teleport to Hux, listening in on the last nanosecond of his plan. "Don't you even think about it... you won't be able to turn back if you even begin to do this," Arturius said in a menacing way to Hux as he approached him with a red aura glowing around his hand. "If you're thinking of a way to kill these beasts off, Temporal America will surrender before you even know it. Surrender now, or perish by my hand," he continued.
This just set off the young 23-year old Hux... "Oh, you think so? Just wait until you get what's coming to you, you arrogant 8th grade 'vampire' phase outfit-wearing dog molester... have at you!" This seemed to trigger Arturius, making him go for Hux's throat - however, he was a few milliseconds late, as Hux hopped back before beaming back onto the ISV Aeon to wait for the coordinates to be fully uploaded. Arturius was left with an expression of unbridled rage, now looking to kill Hux as part of a newly forged vendetta against him. Arturius wanted to bathe in Hux's blood as part of his attempt to remove America from the pedestal it had long claimed for over 800 years, as her harbored a hatred for the nation...
Hux beamed back onto his ship with a smile on his face - he looked at the ship's main computer as the coordinates to the eidolon dimension were being uploaded. 75% completion, it read. A total of just a minute and 45 seconds had passed, and Arturius was seething with rage to the point where he teleported onto the bridge of the Aeon to deal with Hux... at this point, both sides were about to pull out all the stops in an attempt to stop one another.
"Hux! You dare think you Americans can best me!? I will prove you and your army wrong to get all of you off of your high horses... it's time for you and the rest of America to suffer for our freedom!" Arturius shoved a few officers out of the way to try and use whatever powers he had on him against Hux - before he could, however, Hux drew an energy pistol and set it to 'corrode' in order to deal the most damage to him. A few clicks followed, and one shot was fired...
"AAAH!" Arturius' hand was shot with an energy beam that corroded whatever it touched - his palm now had a massive hole that increased in size, eventually causing parts of his hand to fall off. The pain was unbearable, as Arturius was left weakened by Hux's pistol shot. Hux had him forcibly beamed out of the ship in an attempt to rid the atmosphere of his presence - by now, the coordinates to the eidolon dimension were fully uploaded. Arturius' aura was close to corrupting them - but with the various interruptions stopping it from getting the coordinates corrupted, Hux was fortunate enough to get them in one piece.
"The coordinates... 100%, yes! Computer, engage slipstream warp and head for those coordinates! Dispatch Imperial reinforcements to those coordinates for backup!" Hux shouted as he directed the ship to do as he said. Multiple officers were scrambling to get everything together in order to prepare for what was to come in just a few minutes, adjusting their command caps and frantically typing in commands and messages, making various calls and radioing a huge number of soldiers on their holopads, and getting documents recorded during their possible last few minutes of life on the ship. Work seemed to be hectic until the captain stepped in to have his subordinates breathe easily...
"Fear not... the worst is coming up, but we're sure to stick through it as one army - we will stick together as hard-working Americans, united for a cause that promises to bring the better," Hux spoke to increase the morale in his ship's crew. He looked at the screen as the Aeon warped to the eidolon dimension, accompanied by multiple other ships that seemed to have a crafty plan in mind... they were about to run into something much bigger than they had ever seen, a threat that will leave a legacy for generations to come - and they were about to make a massive sacrifice to score an American victory once and for all.
"...It's time we've ended this, Arturius. It's time you've realized our nation cannot be bested, even if you tried."
