it has been a few weeks and after that conversation with ciel, i put off on looking for a new home. ciel didn't exactly apologize but i have a feeling within time he will.

"y/n can you get me the plates?" sebastian asks. i grab a pile of them off the cart and place it on the table as he places the cutlery where it should be.

"sebastian! do we bring in the food now?" finny asks.

"yes finny" sebastian answers. "but be careful."

mey-rin opens the door and finny rolls in the cart with a very serious face. i hold in a chuckle until the wheel turns and it starts to tip over. everyone gasps and in a wink of an eye, sebastian appears at the cart and saves it from falling.

"i'll get the wheel checked out" sebastian says. "you did good, finny."

"sebastian! thank you so much!" finny yells, wrapping his arms around the butler with tears in his eyes. i chuckle and take my seat on the other end of the table.

"i will be right back" sebastian says. finny serves me and i thank him. i dig into my food and after ten minutes ciel enters.

"couldn't wait for me to come?" he asks.

"you walk slow" i say. "my food would be cold by then."

he doesn't say anything and sits across from me. sebastian introduces the food and serves him tea at the end.

ciel nods and starts eating. it's always quiet when we eat. i wish the trio would eat also so maybe we can have a good conversation.

"master ciel, don't forget we have a meeting wit-" the ringing of the door bell interrupts sebastian. "excuse me."

sebastian leaves the room and ciel throws a confused look at me. i nod towards the door and at the same time, we both stand up and take a peak to the other side.

"oh no" ciel groans and pulls me back. it's alois with his... butler?

"is he here for me?" i whisper.

"unless he's here to try and stab me again, i think so" ciel sighs. "this is exactly what i meant so let's just wait until sebastian comes back."

i nod. alois really did come but this isn't very concerning for me. after a while, sebastian comes back and apologizes for taking long.

"what did he want?" ciel asks

"he came looking for miss l/n but i told him she was not here and he proceeded to whine" sebastian says. "his dog- i mean butler took him away."

ciel sighs and closes his eyes, thinking. i just blink and look at my feet.

"as i was saying, we have a meeting this afternoon" sebastian says. ciel nods and sighs again. "and y/n, finny and them are in the garden planting some flowers if you'd like to watch."

"sure but i think i'll join them" i say, smiling.

"please change and don't get too dirty," ciel says. "or i'm not letting you back inside."

"of course!" i call out as i was already walking out. i walk outside to see the trio in the garden, fighting.

"i want to plant those!"

"we should plan how we're going to put them!"

"guys you're ruining the soil!"

"um mey-rin?" i call out. the red head looks up. "can i borrow some clothes to garden?"

"yeah! i have some old ones in the back of my closet! it should fit you! there should be some boots!" she calls back. i walk back inside and into her room. i see folded clothes in a corner and lock her door.

i wonder what flowers there are. i undress and the mey-rin's clothes fit perfectly! it was a navy blue long skirt and a brown thick blouse, tucked in. i find the boots and slip them on.

"coming!" i call out and run back outside. it feels good to run! joining the trio, finny hands me a bag of seeds.

"those are tulips!" finny says. "and these are... "

he looks behind me and just stares. baldroy and mey-rin raise a brow and turn in his view, as do i.

"what are you looking at... ?" i stop when i see bright blue eyes, staring widely through the wall.
