The ride home was a long one. I assume it's because of the guilt that eats away at me. I knew who that voice was, what it meant. Every full moon I yelled to the skies, asking why I had been chosen to be the Oracle. I wished for many nights to have this curse taken away from me, but now all I feel is hollow. There is no hum that runs through my body, warming me, comforting me. It's all gone, and it's my fault. I have been ungrateful, and held much anger towards the moon goddess, but at the same time, a weight has been lifted off.

For years, I carried the weight of so many deaths and disasters, I am not sad to feel it gone. My body and mind feel relief at the thought of no more visions of death and no more pain would be brought onto me. My posture and attitude change as the car slowly comes to a stop in front of the pack house. A smile begins to form on my face as Kreed looks a bit disturbed, "I'm free," I realize.

Kreed stares at me, "What?"

My eyes begin to well as the feeling of utter happiness bubbles in my chest. A crazy laughs escapes my throat, "I'm free, Kreed!"

I jump out from the car, tugging Kreed's hand along with me towards my room. "My name has been cleared, I have no more visions," I turn to face Kreed as we enter my room, "We can do as we like. No worrying, just living," my smile becoming even more wide. Kreed sprouts a smile as my words register in his head. No more problems, we can live out our days just as normal mates would.

Kreed looks to the floor then back to me, "Free," he says breathlessly

Last week, after having an epiphany, Kreed and I vowed to live happily. Kreed has decided to cut ties with his family, he assured it was not because of me, but because of the distance his family has always had with him. He says that they do not deserve to enjoy his company now that he is happy and living contently.

I knew it pained him to do it, but it's what he needed. They were not there for him when his body was morphing into a lycan, all the pain and suffering he endured while they all envied his ability to shift into one. He and I are alike in that way, being the rarity in our world...well, I am no longer a rarity, just the Luna of the Rogue Pack.

The pack rejoiced in the happy engagement of their Luna and Alpha. Kreed has taken me on a date every single day, sometimes out for dinner, or running near the waterfall, or just a small picnic in the woods. He has also given me tasks to do as Luna, such as helping out with the pups and pregnant mothers, a job I am more than happy to do. Lena has become one of my favorite people to talk to, a mother of three, mated to the Gamma, Adrian.

Lena and I walk around the pack daily, pitching in wherever help is needed. "When are you going to tell him?" Lena's chipper voice brings me from my thoughts.

I twirl the pink flower between my thumb and pointer finger, "I don't know, I was pretty bad the last time I tried," I sighed.

Her melodious laughter rings in my ear, "Oh, yes. I remember the pack speaking of how horrible your punches were."

I push her gently, "hey! I wasn't made to fight," I reply. I twirl the flower in my fingers again, "but now that I no longer have the sight, perhaps my Luna abilities will kick in," I say hopefully.

For the last two days I have been thinking about training again. It was quite embarrassing the last time I tried, but I want to take up a new hobby. Maybe I could be a badass like Alexandra was.

Lena snickers, "Oh, honey, I think you should choose a new hobby."

I let out an amused snort. Maybe she is right, I may not be an Oracle anymore, but the trees and the flowers still call to me. Even without the sight I am still capable of making teas and mixing herbs to help with injuries and pains. Being a pack doctor does sound exciting, though I did want to stay away from death, and being a doctor would mean I would see lots of injured wolves, some even dying. Maybe training would turn out good.

We arrive to a cozy blue house, Lena waves a goodbye to me as she enters her home. I could see her three children running around from the large open window as an older lady sits on a sofa watching over them. Lena walks into the room, catching their attention immediately. A smile comes onto my face as I turn from the scene and walk back towards the pack house.

My legs feel heavy as I carry them up the stairs to my room that I now share with Kreed. As I open the door, his sweet scent invades my senses. His back tenses as I shut the door, a soft growl leaving him, "Something smells delicious," he stands from his spot and moves to tower over my frame. "You look happy, love. Did you have a good day?" He wraps his arms around my body, planting a quick kiss to my lips.

I nod in response.

He pulls me to the bed, lying me down, "What did you do today," he asks as he removes my shoes and begins to massage my tired feet. I begin to tell Kreed of my daily adventure, he listens intently to every word that leaves my mouth, then nods in acknowledgment.

He gets up to go to the bathroom, leaving me time to change into sleepwear. He comes out shirtless with his basketball shorts hanging a little below the deep V of his abdomen, "Don't look at me that way, love. You'll be in alot of pain tomorrow if you keep staring," he growls.

My cheeks flush red at his insinuation. He simply chuckles then moves into the bed beside me, bringing me close to him, hugging my body.

"Kreed," his eyes meet mine to continue, "I want to train."
