Dear diary,
I got an almost good grade, key word being almost, so I'm in a government college now.
It's a new start. I just hope it's a good one. My mother was so happy. She looks so good when she smiles. She missed father though. It was hard to stop her tears afterwards.
Saim wants to work too.
He says he wants to contribute to the house too. I told him to contribute by doing chores, not a job. He considered it for a while and then nodded.
The truth is, I remember when I used to work at his age. He's in ninth grade now and I think he should concentrate on the studies more. He can't do to things side by side. It's like being in two boats at the same time. It's very hard and tiring, and I don't want him to go through all that.
Maybe I'll let him take a job when he's passed college? I'll think about that latter.
You know the funny thing? When I told him that could do grocery and maintenance he said, "fine...dad!!"
His sarcasm made me laugh so hard, my jaw still aches.
