four months later

It's been awhile since I last spoke to Daniel. I will say that he did unblock me eventually because I saw that my messages were going through. Yet he never replied. Every day, Every month, my heart would break just a little more.

Graduation is in two days and I'm wondering if he'll come home for it. Even if he does I doubt he'll talk to me. I don't understand Daniel anymore. I don't understand me. I thought I knew what I wanted, but now I'm just not so sure anymore. I loved my blue eye boy but I don't even know if I could call him "mine" anymore.

I was currently at the mall trying to find a dress to wear for graduation. I don't usually like to dress up but I was told that it was required. It's stupid I know but you can't fight the system.

I decided to go along with this cute, light blue romper. I matched it off with a pair of nude heels. The total price of everything was around $80 which was surprisingly below my budget.

Leaving the store with my new items, I make my way to my car and leave the parking lot. I didn't have my phone plugged in the aux so it was just the radio playing. That's when I heard the familiar intro to a certain song. It's been playing nonstop and I can't seem to escape it.

From restaurants to cars to airports hell, I'm pretty sure I heard it in Victoria's Secret one day. Yes I get it, you're something different. I'm pretty sure they announced that they'll be going on tour again soon for this EP.

"Look at us, we could paint a perfect picture-" I immediately turned off the radio, not wanting to hear his angelic voice at the moment. I approached a stop light. Bending down, I grab the aux cord and connected it to my phone.

I started to play one of my new favorites, Congratulations by Post Malone.

Bopping out to the song, the light turns green and I continue my journey to my house. I turn onto my street and see cars parked in my driveway. I chose to park in the street considering there was no room in my driveway. I lock my car and head to the front door.

"Rain! Oh good you're here!" I hear my mom from the kitchen and make my way to her. As I enter I see two people sitting on stools that I don't recognize. "This is Jack and that's Corbyn." My mom points to each one of them. Somehow their names felt familiar. "They're in Daniels band."

There it is. Daniel.

"Okay... why are they here?" I ask, not amused by this situation.

"They'll be staying here in about a month for their concert so their manager thought it was best that while Daniel is home, they get to know Portland a bit more-"

"Did you just say Daniel is home?" My mom nods her head and I nearly blow a brain fuse. "I'll be back." I say through gritted teeth. I turn my heel and right out the front door. His car is even in the driveway, how could I've not of seen this?

I don't even bother knocking, instead I just let myself in.

"Rain, what are you doing here?" Keri stands up from the couch and I see three heads turn towards me. One of them being Daniel. My heart shattered just by looking at him. I don't say anything but instead grab him by the arm and pull him out the door. I made sure to grab his keys too.

I lead him around to the passenger side of his car and told him to get in. Reluctantly he did. I got in on the drivers side. He knew he was in deep shit.

"Rai-"

"Don't even." I raise my hand as I reverse out of the driveway. "There is a lot we need to discuss and I'm not doing it in the car."

So sorry it took so long but here's chapter twelve
