"Don't believe the hype." Alex whispered to himself, staring past the people crowded around him.  To be fair he was starting to doubt himself, the shyness his main fallback, the reason why he couldn't follow her.

Arabella had stopped staring back at him or maybe it was that he was 50 steps farther away than he started.  Snapping the realization, he muttered apologies before running towards the exit.

"Woah, Alex what'er ya doing?" A hand pulled his shoulder back as he groaned in frustration having the urge to scream at them to let go but again, ever the fallback.

"I-I need to, need to find-uh never mind." He covered his panicked voice as he looked down staring at his wrist.  Red like blood but electric, he was overdue.  Alex tried to pull his non-existent jacket down over it before pulling his leather bracelet down, rushing to find any piece of clothing with long sleeves.

Paul gave him an insane look before, he shook his head.  "Well we need to get back,so c'mon."  Alex had no wish to explain the situation so he just followed.

"Dude, can you believe it?"

"This was even better than our first sold out show and we didn't even have a label than."

"I know." Matt said excitedly before hushing his voice.  "What's with Alex though, he just dropped his guitar, been acting strange."

"I don't know." Jamie shook his head.

Paul cleared his throat before Alex entered behind him, his band-mates looking down at the floor knowing at some level that Alex'd heard them.

He just retreated back and grabbed guitar, heading outside. "It's much less picturesque without her catching the light, the horizon tries but it's just not as kind on the eyes. Oh Arabella." This song was his nightmare, he just couldn't get it as hard as he tried but every concert, every gig it was on his mind.  His fantasy.

His voice was strong with emotion, breaking on the parts that hit him the most.  The full out sound that anyone inside could hear, loud and clear.

The wind blew back as he stared at his hands on the frets of his guitar, illuminating the strings, unatural red as he pulled his sweatshirt over his head.
