Jack was casually promenading in the hallway. He looked at the pale green lockers, he looked at the security cameras, and he looked at the students who have begun to pile out of class with him. Once he saw his best friend, Mark, he stopped walking and sprinted towards him.
"Hey, Mark! You know what day it is tomorrow right?" Jack happily bounced.
"April first? Yeah, what about it?" Mark cautiously responded, unsure what this could be leading to.
"We should prank Jason! That would show him not to mess with us.," Jack gave him a devilish smile. Mark began to list why that would be a terrible idea, but it went in the one ear and out the other for Jack. Jack tried to wheedle Mark into helping him with his prank. Sighing, Mark sullenly agreed to help after a few minutes of compliments and persuasion.
"I hate you sometimes, you know that?" Mark sighed, running his hand through his hair.
"Yep! But it's only sometimes," Jack shot back. "Now this is what we're gonna do..." Jack expounded his plan to Mark, who looked very uncomfortable with the arrangement.
"Are you sure this will work?" Mark questioned the next day, wishing he just called in sick today. He didn't want to be at school this early, he never was a morning person.
"One hundred percent! Now, all you have to do is use the silly string and spray it at him. He always leaves his locker unlocked, so getting in won't be difficult. Just wear this ski mask and he won't even know who did it! Quick, get in, he's coming!" Jack whispered. He ran to the nearest bathroom.
Mark shoved his small frame into the locker and felt very uncomfortable. He pulled on his ski mask and put the silly string into position. He heard some heavy footsteps coming and he already knew that Jason was coming.
The locker flung open and Mark began to immediately spray him. Jason recoiled away from his locker and before h could process what was happening, Mark fled into the bathroom.
"That was amazing, wasn't it?!" Jack exclaimed.
"It kinda was, knowing that justice has been served," Mark admitted, high fiving Jack.
