Jack shakily went over to his computer desk and pressed the "on" button. The computer yawned and woke up from its deep slumber. The blue "starting up" screen washed over his face in the darkness. The wave of guilt, sadness, and loneliness had washed over Jack like a tsunami. He knew that when he felt disquieting that there was only one person who could help and make him feel serene once more. Mark was the only person who could relinquish his bad feelings.

He anxiously typed in his password and it felt like hours until the computer brought him to his normal wallpaper. He slammed the right mouse button on the light blue and white Skype emblem. Once the program started up, he urgently called Mark. The Skype ringtone mocked him, but after a few seconds, someone answered in a groggy I-can-hardly-keep-my-eyes-open tone.

"Heeeyyyyy," Mark mumbled, his eyes droopy and waved slowly with a tired smile. Jack chortled and already began feeling better. He knew that with Mark he'd never be alone.
