Jack waited for the ball, eagerly watching as the defense fought off the other team. His conspicuous dyed-green hair ruffled in the wind. One of them had a fleeting moment to shoot, but he missed. An ominous feeling surrounded the other team. It wasn't pervading to his team since they now had position of the soccer ball. It was currently tied between the two teams.

The ball was passed to him from the goalie, Mark. He ran passed all the lethargic people who were sitting on the grass and picking their noses. There was only one good defense and he easily passed him with a trick. Now, everything was nondescript except him, the goalie, and the net. He was exempt from losing now. The chants from his own team, telling him to score, began to crescendo and he ran closer to the net. The opposing goalie had an admonished stance, but he was ready. He snake-eyed the left but shot at the right. The ball went in as the referee tweeted his whistle. Their team won!

Jack's team lined up on the white line. His team was in a jaunty mood as they high-fived the other team. They had won the championships.
