It is a reoccurring nightmare that keeps happening, It has been haunting my sleep for a week. Each night I wake frightened, heart pounding out of my chest and covered in sweat. Last night was the first night I was too scared to sleep at all so as I write this I have been awake for approximately two days.  I am surprised that I can even function properly because my mind keeps replaying the nightmare, there is no power off button, no end.

"Today we will discuss The Salem Witch Trials...May Satan bless our fallen brothers and sisters". Mrs Emerald announced at the start of my History of Magic class.

"May Satan bless them all". the class responded out of respect.  I could barely string that sentence together, it came out like a drunken slur because I was so incredibly tired.  I tried to focus on what Mrs Emerald was teaching us, but her voice became more quiet and the room became more blurry.  All I remember was my head falling onto my desk and it all went dark.

I woke up from the nightmare, heart pounding, covered in sweat.  Immediately a hand was dabbing at my forehead with a cloth.

"Ah, Miss Spellman welcome back to the land of the living. Bad dream?". As my eyes adjusted I could see that I was in the school nurse's office. I turned my head to the side of the bed and saw Nick sitting in the chair beside me looking concerned.  I felt embarrassed that he had to witness me in such a state.

"The word around town is that you are one powerful witch, you banished the thirteen witches of Greendale back to hell. Only one other witch before you has been able to do that. Your powers are very powerful, you are very powerful Miss Spellman so we simply cannot have a powerful witch passing out". She stated looking at me with concerned brown eyes.

"I'm sorry, I..."

"No need for apologies, I know you must be studying, practicing your craft all night, but Miss Spellman you need to rest. You have not slept for days have you?".

I shook my head slowly sitting up, feeling exhausted.

"Mr Scratch will escort you back to your room. Get some rest please." She suggested before exiting the room.

I found the whole incident embarrassing so I tried to get off the bed as quickly as possible, but in doing so I almost lost my balance, but Nick caught me by grabbing my waist and my hands flew to his chest in reflex to help balance me.

Just like the last time he touched me my skin was on fire, he is a good few feet taller than me so I had to look up at him. His almost black eyes looked into mine, but it was as if he was looking through them into my very soul, it made me shiver.

"Come on Lady in Red lets get you to bed...no pun intended". he spoke quietly a smirk forming at the corner of his lips. And before I could protest he had swooped me up in his arms.

"Nick, put me down I can walk" I said sleepily

"Yes I can see how well that was working out for you just a second ago" He said sarcastically.  I giggled despite the room getting blurry again.

"Sabrina, put your arms around my neck" Nick spoke softly.  I felt my arms wrap around his neck and I  felt my head rest against his chest. He smelt like cigarette's mixed with Calvin Klein.  As he carried me I felt this strange feeling of safety, a comfortableness that I had never experienced. Before I could make any sense of it I slowly drifted off to sleep.
