Yoko finished putting on her expensive lip gloss, then smiled at herself in the mirror. Today was the day she planned on introducing herself to this boy. Suddenly she heard her phone ringing, so she smiled as she knew who was calling her.

"I'm still going Chi," she said, whilst putting on her ballet shoes. "There's nothing that you can do to stop me."

"Yoko, just listen-" her best friend Chitanda protested. But before she could speak another word, Yoko had hung up on her.

Yoko rolled her eyes, then put her phone in her bag and exited the house. She made her way down town, and as usual, all eyes were on her. But she looked different compared to the first time we introduced her to this story.

Yoko had a tendency for wearing wigs, so one day she could have short pink hair and the next, long ebony black curls which spiralled down her back. At school, she usually sticked with the less vibrant ones so she didn't get into any trouble. After all, she needed to keep up her reputation.

Today she had green plaits, which just reached her ankles. She also had red sparkly glasses, and a pink tank top with shorts and black boots. All of her clothes were designer, and hand-made just for her.

Yoko found the alley-way in which the boy was dwelling. She peered round the corner, and found him staring at the picture of the girl, who she knew was Sakura Chiyoki, a girl who had committed suicide six months ago. A rush of jealousy hit Yoko, so she decided to make her move.

"Excuse me?" She said, stepping forward, a big smile on her face. "I couldn't help but wonder, isn't that Chiyoki Sakura, the girl on the news?"

He instantly turned his head, his emotionless eyes meeting with her vibrant ones. "It's a shame, she was such a pretty-"

"Don't talk like you know her." He said coldly. Yoko was immediately taken back by his comment, but she imagined how he would use this nastiness against her bullies.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you angry." She apologised. "Were you close with her?"

"I'm her husband," he said, almost proudly. "We got married right where your standing. It was a quiet ceremony, only her and I. I didn't want there to be any guests, because they might ruin our special day. And a priest? Oh please, I'm satanic."

"It sounds like you really loved her," commented Yoko. "But aren't you a bit ... young to get married? You look fifteen."

"I'm actually seventeen, if it's any of your business." Damn. He obviously wasn't interested in her. "And besides, I wanted to get married as soon as possible, so she couldn't betray me or any thing like that."

"I see." Yoko said. "I'm Hitachiin Yoko, by the way."

"..."

Yoko sighed, the smiled at him. "Well. I'll come visit you tomorrow. Bye." He didn't reply, only avert his gaze back to the picture of Sakura. Yoko turned around on her heel, her hands behind her back, and walked back home.

"I will win you, my precious. You will be mine."

Chitanda Morizoku was walking to the hospital. She was wearing a long brown coat, and her black hair was pulled into a messy bun. On her feet were bright pink converse boots, and heavy bags were under her eyes. She didn't walk with elegance or class, she hunched over with her hands in her pockets. After all, she wasn't the most fashionable girl out there.

She arrived at the hospital, and walked over to the reception desk. The woman at the desk was busy typing away at her computer, so Chitanda had to clear her throat to get the woman's attention.

"May I help you?" She asked, with a tired drone. Her badge read: Maya Clifford. Her brown eyes never left the computer screen.

"I'm here to see patient number one hundred and forty three? My name is Morizoku Chitanda," she spoke, her eyes wandering around the hospital. Maya typed something on her computer, then looked up at Chitanda.

"Yes, of course. She is in the Willow Ward, on the second floor. Go straight down, the there should be a colourful sign saying 'Willow Ward'."

"The children's Ward?"

"Yes, well she is only sixteen."

"Seventeen, her birthday is today." Chitanda said, then made her way over to the elevator. She pressed the button, then waited for the elevator. After about a minute, the elevator came. There was no one getting off, she climbed on.

Chitanda found the Ward with ease, seeing as it did have a very colourful sign. She entered, and immediately heard the sound of children screaming and laughing. Chitanda pulled a face of disgust, she wasn't too great with younger children.

She walked down the Ward, trying to find her bed, soon enough, she saw her, sleeping peacefully. Her whole body was covered with bandages, casts and bruises. She had to have an oxygen mask on her beaten up face. Luckily though, her bed was by the window, so she could hear the comforting songs of the birds.

Chitanda made her way by the side of her bed. She carefully stroked her soft, golden hair. "Happy birthday, Sakura-Chan."
