This is worse, she thinks, then leaving. Being left-no, not there! She had promised herself she wouldn't! But it was so hard not to- with that line of cold stones in front of her and their rooms waiting for her at home. No, not home, home is- She stared, then laughed. She thought leaving would make it easier but- they weren't supposed to leave, not ever-maybe if they had never left in the first place then she wouldn't be standing here- left behind.
