The next couple weeks were hectic for the couple, between guest appearances and just day to day activities it felt like they haven't seen each other much. It also doesn't help that Bayley has been at the pc every day because she has a title match against Alexa Bliss, and already told the guys unless Blake or Murphy interfere, she doesn't want them out at ringside. Finn flipped when he heard that, but Bayley said that she wanted to do this by herself. So that turned into an argument and therefore they both were frustrated at each other.
"I just don't get it, Sasha, he knows I want to defeat Alexis without the help of the club," Bayley exclaimed as she is doing sit-ups.
Sasha sighed and placed the weights down that she was working with and turned to Bayley. "He cares about you Bay, and we both know that Murphy and Blake are going to interfere and that's what they want to stop from happening. They've done it before and Asuka is still out with her shoulder injury. Do you want that to be you?"
Bayley shook her head and stood up, stretching. She was quiet for a bit before she said, "No, I don't. You know that but part of me wonders if Finn and I weren't also dating, he wouldn't be so protective of me."
"Yeah right, even if you two weren't dating, he'd still be protective. That man has had a thing for you for a long time, and now that you two are together he wants to make sure you're safe." Sasha walked over to were Bayley was now sitting and sat next to her.
"Just let him be the protective boyfriend both on and off screen. Besides you are just as protective of him as he is of you. Need I remind you of a certain situation about a week ago that involved his ex."
Bayley groaned and rolled her eyes and then realized Sasha was right, she hung her head and started laughing. "I feel like I'm going crazy Sasha. I've never felt like this before. I mean one minute I feel this overwhelming surge of love, then he goes and says something that makes me want to throttle him the next."
Sasha reached over and placed her hand on Bayley's arm, "sweetie you love him." The look on Bayley's face was priceless as her head and heart finally settle on the same page. With astonishment written on her face, she looked up at Sasha, who was smiling at her "Yeah I do."
She then stood up, "I'm going to go shower, and then get ready for tonight's show. I'll see you later Sasha."
Sasha smiled and nodded, "see ya bay."
Bayley grabbed her workout bag and walked into the girl's locker room. She quickly checked her phone and saw that she had a text from Finn. 'Babe- I'm sorry for getting upset about you not wanting us a ringside, I understand. Just please be careful. Xoxo, Finn.' She smiled to herself and quickly sent a reply, 'Finn- I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to lash out at you. If the offer still stands, I'd love it if you guys would be ringside. I'll call you when I get out of the shower. Talk soon. Xoxo Bay.' She pressed send and then turned around and headed for the shower.
Meanwhile with Finn and the guys, "She just texted me, saying that she's sorry for lashing out and that if the offer still stands, she'd love it."
He read the text out loud to the guys. Karl smiled and shook his head, "you guys are so sickening. Just tell her you love her, and then do something to resolve the goddamn sexual tension you two have." Luke very quickly agreed while Finn blushed a little.
"Guys, it's too soon for that stuff. We literally just started dating," he was cut off by Luke, "and you have had the tension for years. Despite her having a fiancé, I swear once the tension is out of the way your mood will be so much better." Both Karl and Luke laughed at Finn's discomfort as they finished their workout at Karl's house, they all walked into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water.
