~Skylar's POV~
"Seto. Get me a piece of cake. Pleeeeease!" Seto looked over at me, after finishing talking to his aunt, and raised an eyebrow. "It's... Right in front of you love." I giggled when he called me love.
Lately he's been using a bunch of nicknames, and saying different accents with them. "What happened to you just calling me Skye?" He shrugged, and held up one finger to me, before turned back to another family member.
"So what did you decide for, on college?" I turned around to Becca, while she was having a fork fight with Mitch. They hit the forks against each other, before Becca knocked Mitch's out of his hand. "Aw! That's not fair! You cheated!"
"I don't know. All I have planned out, is that I'm going to go to one with, or near Seto." Becca rolled her eyes, and muttered under her breath. "Shocker." "Well what do you have planned, missy?" I smirked and rested my elbows on the table, but Seto knocked them out from under me.
"THIS IS A FANCY TABLE. YOU WILL NOT PUT YOUR ELBOWS ON IT!" My mouth hung open, and his eyes widened. "Please?" I blew out air from my nose, and turned back to Becca.
"Well.... Probably... Onewithmitchalso." I slammed my hand down on the table, a bit louder than intended, and exclaimed. "Ha! Your plan isn't any better than mine!" She rolled her eyes and leaned back on the chair, before Mitch handed her the fork again.
"I call a rematch!" "Ok. But don't cry when I whoop your tooshie." Seto started poking the back of my neck, and made his way up to my eye. His gestures sent chills up my body, and I shuddered.
"Don't freaking do that!" I swatted his hands away, and he chuckled. "My mom wants to talk to you, though!" I turned around, and saw his mom, with a gigantic grin across her face. She handed me a card, and it was addressed to me.... From my parents?
"They wrote this before they passed. I found it when your house was being cleaned out." I slowly took it from her, and she went back and sat in her seat. I pulled the card out, it getting stuck in the corner, and also me shaking.
Seto eventually just pulled it out for me, and placed his arm around me in the process. I opened it up, and started tearing up as I spread the entire note. (It was just a bunch of we love you's, and that sorta thing.)
I got to the bottom of the note, and I was already crying. ~I hope you enjoy your gift! <3 Love Mom, Dad, and Cθθper.~ Cooper had signed his name messily, and it sorta looked Greek to me.
"Gift? What's that supposed to mean?" I looked up, and spotted Seto's mom standing on top of the stage in the gym. "Could I have everyone's attention!"
