Chapter 6: B-D-F-F?

~Seto's POV~

"BEST FRIENDS?" She started laughing and nodded. "Got me worried there, for a moment." I chuckled and sat back in the seat. Behind me I heard honking, so Skye and I both looked out the emergency doors window. The guys, Mitch and Jerome, were racing and honking the car horns at us.

Skylar and I both started laughing. Mitch and Jerome took another route and went off school grounds. Skylar rolled her eyes and pulled out her iPad. I watch for a moment as she started drawing something, and I realized it was my minecraft character. "Like drawing my character?" She chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. I just like drawing the plasma bolts, so I added your character." I smiled and turned my attention to my book.

"Oh shoot. Skylar. We were assigned that project in history. She said we could have partners. Want to work together?" She smiled and nodded. "Sure. Come by my house and we'll work on it." I smiled back and opened up my book. This is fourth time reading it. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Our stop came up and Skylar went first. Jasper, the little brat who doesn't listen, but is also Colton's brother, was shoved out of the way by Skylar. "Oops! Didn't see you there!" She pushed him again. "Or there." I started laughing, and climbed off the bus. Cooper came up to me and grabbed my hand.

"Oh. So you like him better than your own sister? Poop sock." Cooper smiled and started pulling on my arm. "Come on Seto, you have to see my dinosaurs!" Cooper yanked my arm, as I started talking to Skylar. I ran forward, and almost face planted on the ground. Cooper was laughing, and Skylar was trying not to. She held her hand out to me, and I took it, pulled her down with me.

"Wow. What a best friend!" She said sarcastically and pulled herself up. I got up also, and brushed my pants off. Cooper grabbed my hand again, and started running ahead. I looked behind me and saw my mom come out of the house, and Skylar went over to tell her we were going to go work on the project.

"HOW IS A 4 YEAR OLD, STRONGER THAN ME?" My mom and Skylar laughed, as Coopers mom came out. "Cooper! How ,any times do I have to tell you not to do that to Seto!" Cooper held up three fingers. "Free times!" I started laughing and walked into the house with him.

"Skylar and I are working on a history project." She nodded and I was dragged to Coopers room, where a dinosaur was shoved in my face. "Roar!" I stepped back in surprise. "Oh, hello dinosaur." I awkwardly waved to it, making Cooper laugh.

"What dinosaur is it? Mommy said its just a dinosaur." I laughed, and shook my head. "No. That's a pterodactyl." Cooper's smile grew even larger, and he started flying it around the room. Behind me I heard the door creak open, and Skylar came in. She took one look at me sitting in the corner, surrounded by dinosaurs, before laughing.

"Cooper. Seto and I have to go work on our homework now. Sorry bud." Cooper frowned and dropped the dinosaur. I stood up and ruffled his hair. "I'll come back and play." He smiled and started playing again. Skylar and I went to her room and sat on her bed. I grabbed my history book out and turned to the designated page.

We started on the project, and about an hour in Skylar's mom came in with a tray of cookies. "Weird. My mom made the same ones two days ago." Mrs. Rosewood chuckled and let me take three. Well, she let me take two, but as she turned around, I grabbed another one.

Skylar laughed under her breath, and we got back to working. Cooper kept coming in and asking if we were done yet, and every time we said no, he sighed. "We can be done for the day. If you want to go play with him you can." I laughed and almost spit out the cookie in my mouth.

"Thanks mom!" Skylar laughed and pulled out a notebook, and started drawing. I walked over to Coopers room and knocked. The door opened, and Coopers face lit up. "SETO! HERE'S YOUR DINOSAUR!" I rolled my eyes and walked into his room, and sat next to him.
